Notes from Underground – Most read articles for the week ending Nov 2

By Darren Atwater | Sunday 3 November 2024

The most read non-Tom article last week is The View From The Montana Log-Cabin As Gold Heads For Another All-Time High by Nigel Somerville at number 3 or number 7 including Bearcasts.

The most-read ShareProphets articles this week were:

  1. BREAKING: Georgina Energy audit committee chairman accused of fraud and enrichment in Ben's Creek's law suit
If only Avani read our numerous exposes and warnings before blowing tens of millions on the now bankrupt Ben's Creek (BEN).but it did not and is now suing disgraced Adam Wilson of Daniel Stewart infamy and also Robin Fryer, Ben's chairman and now a NEd and audit committee chairman of helium penny share dreadful Georgina Energy (GEX) alleging fraud and self enrichment. The legal filing is below.

  2. Dominic White – life’s no Dolce Vita for his shareholders: where are the regulators?
I provide a quick update on the three Dominic White backed companies which have graced UK public markets. The news is unremittingly grim.

  3. The View From The Montana Log-Cabin As Gold Heads For Another All-Time High
Gold closed the week at $2,748 – up again from last week’s record $2,721 and therefore yet another all-time weekly high as we head for the end of the month and another record monthly high. It is all good news for Goldbugs, even if Gold stocks took a breather during the week as can be seen on the chart below of Gold against the miner’s ETFs GDX (majors), GDXJ (juniors) and GOEX (explorers).

  4. My letter Reporting myself and 4 others to the FCA asking for an investigation into market abuse
Request to investigate myself, Tom Winnifrith, but also Mark Wallace and Tony Hamilton of Georgina for market abuse. Advisors Jerry Keen and Oliver Stansfield should also be investigated.

  5. BREAKING: The whole Steve O Hara health story Optibiotix is still not telling you
The GM called by Seneca in cahoots with Optibiotix (OPTI) to sack Steen Anderson at Probiotix (PBX) is over and as we knew would happen, the motion was rejected. I gather that at least one PDMR at Probiotix has already bought shares in the company as a result and more insider buying, of a material nature, will follow next week. Things are all good at Probiotix and at 4p-6p folks should just hold their nose when it comes to the spread and buy. My two year target remains 24p. But I have shocking news about Optibiotix.

  6. BREAKING BOMBSHELL for Georgina Energy: Grant Thornton investigation into wholesale expense abuse and fund misappropriation by Hamilton and Wallace
Thanks to the Winnileaks service I publish below a report by Grant Thornton from 2017 into events at Australia based Nelson Resources. So serious are the findings that GT called in the report for the Police to be involved.

  7. Brand Architekts – full-year results, balance sheet-backed recovery Buy
Beauty and personal care products group Brand Architekts (BAR) has announced results for its year ended 30th June 2024 and that it “remain confident that the foundations we are building will enable us to return to profitability”. What about this from a current 27p offer share price, £7.5 million market capitalisation?

  8. Ariana – Shares Rising As ASX Listing Nears but far more to come
AIM-listed Ariana Resources (AAU) saw its shares rise a stonking 32.5% last week. It’s a very big rise, especially for Ariana. As its ASX listing draws ever closer, I wonder why.

  9. The Shysters at Georgina Energy to report Tom Winnifrith to the FCA for market abuse:
Oh dear. This will not end well for Georgina Energy (GEX) and morally bankrupt advisors such as Jerry Keen and Oliver Stansfield who have hitched their name to this bandwagon. Georgina says it “ "is aware of a number of recent blog and social media posts that contain a number of false and misleading statements made by uninformed third parties.” Worse...

  10. Centamin – My Replacements And Grrr!!
When AngloGold launched its bid for fully-listed Centamin (CEY) I said I was looking at splitting the holding into stakes in various replacements, including fully-listed Golden Prospect (GPM), Kefi (KEFI), Amaroq (AMRQ) and the Gold-mining ETFs GDX (majors) and GDXJ (juniors). Sadly, I held back from buying yet more Ariana (AAU)….needless to say, it is up 64% since. Drat!

The most listened-to Bearcasts this week were:

  1. Tom Winnifrith bearcast: feeling so ill I thought it was Thursday and Halloween until just now
I struggle on and expose more about Georgina Energy (GEX). Then onto Optibiotix (OPTI), Probiotix (PBX) and Kefi (KEFI).

  2. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: a day I really felt good about my work whatever twitter moron Neil said
It has been a really good day professionally. And the NHS seems to be coming good regarding a camera up my bum too. I discuss all of that, twitter moron Neil, I reveal more scandal at Georgina Energy (GEX), something new Optibiotix (OPTI) is hiding, I cover Emmerson (EML) and David Lenigas and a dog ate my homework RNS from Pennpetro (PPP)

  3. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Failing Rachel from accounts
In this podcast I discuss the Budget, Georgina Energy (GEX), Jerry Keen and Microsalt (SALT)

  4. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Thank heavens Olaf is unemployed
As illness and half term sweeps the house Olaf rides to the rescue. In the podcast I discuss IQE (IQE), Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Georgina Energy (GEX) and Shield Therapeutics (STX)

  5. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: How clever is Doc Holiday and how mendacious is the fake news FT?
I start with the Financial Times then it is Manolete (MANO), Doc's ECR Minerals (ECR), Georgina Energy (GEX) and then Optibiotix (OPTI) and why its chairman must be fired.

  6. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: BIG questions for Zak's auditor and why Ariana is such an amazing risk reward play and could be 20p
I start with Lift Global Ventures (LFT) ahead of another expose tomorrow and then ponder Ariana Resources (AAU) a possible six bagger with such limited downside risk.

  7. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Farewell Big Dave Lenigas
I ponder Kefi Gold (KEFI) and Pennpetro (PPP)
