Notes from Underground – Most read articles for the week ending Nov 23

By Darren Atwater | Sunday 24 November 2024

The most read non-Tom article last week is StreaksAI – interims argue AI technology developments “nearing completion” and “adequate working capital”, BUT… by Steve Moore at number 1 or number 8 including Bearcasts.

The most-read ShareProphets articles this week were:

  1. StreaksAI – interims argue AI technology developments “nearing completion” and “adequate working capital”, BUT…
Stating “having listed in 2023 it has spent the intervening time developing AI technology in the conversational interface space and in the automated bot sector”, StreaksAI (STK) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st August 2024 including “the board of the company are of the opinion that the company has adequate working capital for the next 12 months”. What then of a share price currently falling below 0.20p?

  2. Is China fraud specialist Paul Shackleton doing a bit of a Rachel from Customer services on LinkedIn?
Oh dear, oh dear. It seems as if it is not only Rachel from Customer Services, aka our incompetent Chancellor whose LinkedIn profile neds a bit of doctoring. You will remember my numerous run ins with Mr Paul Shackleton who, while at Daniel Stewart (DAN) was the Nomad who helped support numerous China frauds, notably Naibu.

  3. The View From The Montana Log-Cabin As Gold Suffers Continued Trump Dump
Gold closed the week at $2,562 – a big drop from last week’s $2,684 and a long way off its recent record high of $2,790. So is it the end of the bull-run?

  4. EXPOSE: Technology Minerals: Breaking listing rules yet again, something it is not saying!!
Oh dear, Oh dear.. Turd polisher in chief Harry Chathli you really are a very naughty boy indeed. I think you need to be made to sit on the PR naughty step until Christmas and the chances of Santa thinking you have been a good boy and bringing you a bulging stocking, rather than a lump of coal, are reducing by the minute. The lesser transgression is the lack of accounts.

  5. #Gowokegobroke: Jaguar and its new advert
Most purchasers of Jaguar cars are older men, the vast majority of whom will be straight. Folks like me who think fondly of Inspector Morse and his Motor. I suspect folks like me are in short supply in the Jaguar marketing department which will be stuffed full of all sorts of diverse young folks with liberal arts degrees. And they have served up the advert below as part of a "rebranding". There is already a backlash. Sales will fall. It will be withdrawn. Nobody will be fired. Life goes on.

  6. Ariana – Turkey Update As Knicker-Wetters Strike
AIM-listed Gold producer Ariana Resources (AAU) announced an update regarding its joint venture portfolio in Turkey this morning. The shares are down – presumably because a few souls are panicking that the forthcoming second mine at Tavsan is late. But for me a small delay is neither here nor there – what was of far more interest for me were comments over Dokwe in Zimbabwe.

  7. BREAKING EXPOSE: Georgina Energy, the bogus research report by a firm that does not exist and the criminal charges
Another day and another massive red flag emerges at Georgina Energy (GEX) thanks to this website. It is another red flag for oily broker Jerry Keen and discredited financier Oliver Stansfield as well as the poltroons at the FCA to ignore. It it is another warning that those holding the equity should not ignore.

  8. Eco Buildings Group – letter of Intent for potential significant new contract, risk/reward Strong Buy
‘Modular housing’ group Eco Buildings (ECOB) has announced, following a visit to its manufacturing facility in Albania by a delegation from the Dominican Republic, “detailed negotiations have progressed positively, building on the Letter of Intent signed with Gramma Constructora SRL (a large private construction company headquartered in the Dominican Republic)” – this for a potential $237 million gross revenue contract to the group. What of an 18.5% increase in the share price to 8p in response, giving a market cap of just £6.5 million.

  9. Video: Buying Gold Miners, Cheap Compared to Gold Itself
Libertarian analyst and investor Doug Casey insists that buying gold mining shares is as better bet than buying gold. I guess he has never met Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI).

  10. Amaroq Minerals – Q3 results and key agreements for upcoming gold production, an upcoming catalysts Buy
Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ) has announced third quarter of 2024 results and “key agreements in preparation for gold production in Nalunaq” – on which it states it has “made significant headway”. This suggests further strong upside from a 79p share price, even after an initial 73p offer price tip.

The most listened-to Bearcasts this week were:

  1. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Will Southport see Keir Starmer also forced to resign, the gagging is not working! And is today's Georgina expose enough for Jerry Keen to quit?Yesterday I discussed why Rachel Reeves, Rachel from customer services, should quit..
Today I look at the gagging orders and the rumours which have created another dangerous Southport vacuum. Will Sir Kier have to resign over this when the truth is out or are the rumours all over the web untrue? None of this mess will inspire consumer or business confidence. Labour needs to come clean on all fronts. Then onto my latest Georgina Energy (GEX) expose?

  2. Tom Winnifrith bonus bearcast: ye or me or that idiot Magna Carta of little faith, Eco Buildings and Skinbiotherapeutics
As the snow lies not that thick on the ground I have bonus childcare duties as the lazy teachers take another day off. In this, therefore delayed, bonus bearcast I look at today's brilliant news from both Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) and Eco Buildings (ECOB) both of which now offer an incredibly attractive risk reward entry point.

  3. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Barclays wastes 15 minutes of my life
I start with the misery of being a Barclays (BARC) customer. Then it is Celadon (CEL), Georgina Energy (GEX), Optibiotix (OPTI), Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX), IQE (IQE), Enwell Energy (ENW) and the gold price

  4. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Under what circumstances do I give up on Optibiotix and switch into Skins?
I start with the naivete of so many who blunder into running a restaurant. Then the farmers again. Then Optibiotix (OPTI), Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX), Argo Blockchain (ARB), Evil Banksta, and Miriad Advertisting (MIRI)

  5. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: starting my hard conversation with Steve O' Hara
In today's podcast I look at Lift Global Ventures (LFT) where I have another treat for brown envelope man tomorrow, Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Optibiotix (OPTI), Victoria (VCP) and Nostra Terra (NTOG)

  6. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Jeremy Clarkson bloody well should pay full IHT
I start with the snow and lazy teachers hence the delayed bearcast, then to farmers and IHT where my views are maybe not as you might expect. Then it is onto Cirata (CRTA), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and to BSF Enterprise (BSFA)

  7. Tom Winnifrith bonus bearcast: Which accounts from Zak Mir are a tissue of lies?
Lift Global Ventures (LFT) run by brown envelope man has issued diabolical, red flag strewn accounts. But which set of accounts for its main subsidiary are a tissue of lies and is Zak a tax dodger?

  8. Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Now Lemming Junior says switch from Optibiotix to Skinbiotherapeutics
The note below shocks me in my naive way about payments made to the Lemming media empire by Optibiotix (OPTI), what a waste of money. I discuss why i am not sure switching right now is smart though I see the argument. The ball really is in the court of Steve O'Hara.

  9. Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Today's note from Cavendish on Skinbiotherapeutics is utterly pointless, here's my stab at forecasts
What is the point of Nomad and broker Cavendish? Giles Bellend lies to his client. Now it publishes a wholly pointless and amateurish research note on Sinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). I discuss that note and have a stab at doing the analyst's job for him.

  10. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hemogenyx you guys are taking the piss!
In today's podcast I discuss Mr Market and manic depression, Optibiotix (OPTI), Nostra terra (NTOG), Hemogenyx (HEMO), Webis (WEB), and Belluscura (BELL)

  11. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: have you heard of Alastair Bath?
No me neither until Thursday. I discuss Tirupati Graphite (TGR) , V22 (V22) and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX)
