In the crazy world of Drive Software, where a company branded Tesla meets Fitbit by Julie “Lingerie on Expenses”, things seem to be getting ever crazier. Of course, it is bust, and Julie Meyer quit as a director on February 9, as I showed HERE. But this is Drive…
Coincidentally, on 9th February, the day the Queen rat resigned, I can reveal that Drive finally paid a two-year-old debt, which fought off a winding-up order served that day! That is yet another example of the sort of ethical business behaviour for which Ms Meyer received an MBE, much to Vince Cable's delight.
But if we thought that Ms Sex Toy on Expenses was driving away from the car crash, yesterday, at Companies House, a new filing appeared: the appointment of Dr Julie Meyer - with a different address in Switzerland. Apparently, Dr Meyer became a director on 1 February, eight days before non-Dr Meyer resigned. Whatever. The different name and address might fool those searching company’s house, but you cannot fool me, Julie!
I note that, even with Julie back on board, the company’s confirmation statement is now overdue. Then again, corporate rules are for little people, and Julie has other things on her mind, like her fight against a six-month jail stretch.
That doctorate, by the way, is almost certainly the honorary one, given by my father’s old place of work, Warwick University. I am sure Warwick is delighted to be associated with such a fine upstanding citizen. How many of its other honorary doctorates are on the run both from US tax authorities and the British High Court?
