I asked you for £3,000 to fund the Woodlarks Christmas Grotto appeal a week ago. Today we have reached our target with gift aid on top. I have asked Darren to close the page when he wakes up in the socialist hell hole that is Canada (no sniggering at the back) so no more money please. Treat yourself to an extra bottle of ouzo this Christmas. On behalf of Nick Richards, his charming Mrs Sarah and all the team at Woodlarks, we are very grateful for your generosity. Thank you all.Published 22 May 2014, 13:13
James Parter revealed some quite disgraceful ramping of shares in Tangiers Petroleum (TPET) yesterday. His analysis was superb and shows why an Australian website was publishing plain untruths about this dual listed company. I suggest reading his article here.

First of all thanks for all the kind comments on the Woodlarks walk. The final photos and my final thoughts are HERE. It is not too late to donate HERE and that is what David Lenigas should do now as he gets his twitter knickers in a twist over his pre-placing tweets on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). He now says on twitter he was an insider -in the US that would be a perp walk admission. The shameless old ramper is now batting for Angus Energy (ANGS). Elsewhere I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) and the odd Midas call, Wolf Minerals (WLFE), N4 Pharma (N4P), Arden Partners (ARDN) and Goldplat (GDP). Back to Woodlarks: next year I seek volunteers to join the 4 rogue bloggers. I now have 4 (PR genius Steffi, daughter Olaf, my pal the Euro loon Jonathan Price and Steve Moore), if you are up for it email tomat49@gmail.com

We have two new volunteers for June 17th and the 34 mile walk from Winchester Cathedral to Woodlarks. The far more photogenic of the two is pictured below.Published 21 May 2020, 17:01
Over the weekend I hope to bring you photos of a semi complete strawberry patch here at the Welsh Hovel and also of my first long training walk for Woodlarks. I donated £1000 yesterday and young Steve Moore also made a generous gift so we are now at 24% of the £48,000 we need to ensure Woodlarks survives. Please donate HERE. In the podcast I look at Whitbread (WTB), Catenae (CTEA) and at where we are in the gold shares buying cycle, referring to three I own and am very excited: Bluebird Merchant (BMV), Kefi (KEFI ) - no sniggering at the back please - and Xtract (XTR). Again no sniggering.

It was a fight to the death – well, not really for ShareProphets readers are far too civilised for that. In the blue corner we had Putneywill thinking that the massively long-awaited special dividend from Ariana Resources (AAU) would see the shares tick down by less than the dividend when it finally arrived. In the red corner we had Pierotlunaire arguing that it would not – and a bet ensued, with ShareProphets’ favourite charity Woodlarks the winner. The stats say there was a winner – but this is ShareProphets, where our readers operate by different standards, and it seems that in the end Woodlarks won one and a half times over.

The most read non-Quiz, non-Tom article last week is by Gary Newman, Sylvania Platinum looks good value with strong production and PGM prices set to rise in the coming years, at No 1 or No 4 including Bearcasts.

It has not been a good day. Firstly the Mrs left a door not fully closed and two cats have become one, Quincey has gone AWOL. Then I had to watch a crazy cat woman Carole Cadwalladr video for the sake of Woodlarks. Finally we have suffered a DOS attack. Someone does not like our exposes of fraud and malpractice. We will not be silenced. As you consider my Cadwalladr suffering please donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE. In the podcast I cover Neil Woodford, Xeros (XSG), Eight Peaks (8PG), Alien Metals (UFO), African Battery Metals (ABM), Countrywide (CWD), Purplebricks (PURP) and the quoted housebuilders.

There were three reasons to procrastinate about starting a training walk this weekend. The first is that if you were lying in bed next to a gorgeous younger wife would you want to get up? The second is that walking a long way by yourself, up and down a main road to Wrexham, is not that interesting. You can think about various things but there are only so many things you can think about or talk to yourself about. My training walk, avoiding the killer cows of years gone by, is dull. The third reason…Published 29 May 2021, 19:01

I start with the Woodlarks Christmas appeal where were are just £353 short, go on please donate HERE. Then it is a bingo moment as I put together why I have a portrait of the 1st Earl of Abingdon c/o a book from 1862. Then Boris being disingenuous and the Tories on tax. Finally it is back to Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) and why I stand by comments made last Friday HERE and indeed go further.Published 16 December 2022, 08:02
Sarah, the Mrs of Nick Richards, who is also a stalwart of Woodlarks, has written to you all with a few photos of what you funded. Over to her...Published 28 June 2018, 08:49
The 3Xs are the fraudbusters best friends. In this case it was one of Julie Meyer's 3Xs and a new source. we chatted for just under an hour. More to follow. Oh dear, poor Ms Lingerie on Expenses MBE. In the podcast I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Purplebricks (PURP), Frontera (FRR), FastJet (FJET), MySquar (MYSQ) - where I have again contacted John Meyer urging him to get off his fat arse - Andalas (ADL) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks is now, with gift aid, at almost £11,000. I explain here why this walk makes the difference between Woodlarks having to cut services or carry on, please do give a tenner today. Think of my pain - not least in having to hear Dan talk total bollocks about Andalas for whole day - and COUGH UP HERE.

This will be the sixth walk and we have agreed the last. Maybe Lucian and I will do something different next year, maybe not. The old boy did turn 60 last year. The date is now set for June 17 and we will walk the 34 miles from Winchester to the Woodlarks camp. So far those signed up are:Published 11 December 2022, 07:19
I know times are tough. But I am sure that if you are reading this you can afford a tenner or a fiver. And I ask that you hand that over to the amazing folks at Woodlarks as it does its first face to face Santa grottos for 200 kids whose, often short, lives are not like those we enjoy.Published 25 July 2018, 16:17
As of last night a group of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) twitter trolls have moved from attacking me over THIS ARTICLE to having a pop at Woodlarks over the walk on Saturday. Big Dave Lenigas is copied in on these tweets. I urge him to state clearly that attacking charities for the disabled is obscene and to make a donation HERE - as should any bearcast listener who has not done so already! I have recorded a special Woodlarks podcast today which you can listen to HERE. In this bearcast I ask what will make an overvalued market crack and look at Tern (TERN), Amur (AMC), Metals Exploration (MTL), Optibiotix (OPTI) and Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) once more.

With gift aid we are now just a few hundred quid shy of raising the £48,000 needed to ensure that amazing Woodlarks can survive the Covid lockdown and continue its work next year. So if you have donated I thank you and if not please do so HERE. It would be great to end the weekend with the job done. The Mrs and Darren combined to put up a few photos of yesterday’s 33.3 mile walk so here is the full story.

I start with a bit on my walking schedule. I really will suffer tomorrow so about donating a tenner to Woodlarks as you think of the pain that lies ahead. Support a great cause HERE. In the podcast I look at non food retailers where I take a simple view as I am not as clever as Chris. I look at CyanConnode (CYAN), GYG (GYG) and follow up on Gary's piece on Bellzone (BZM) with a discussion on what constitutes market abuse.

This is quite possibly the most successful year for ShareProphets sccops and stories. Julie Meyer, Neil Woodford, those wacky wonderkids at Burford—didn't we all have a fun year? Here are the stories and Bearcasts that moved your fellow ShareProphets members. Of course some folks think it is not worth £5.99 to catch all these market moving articles and exposes...
