Hochschild Mining – gold and silver exposure value

As record gold price excitement further builds in Nigel Somerville’s Montana Log-Cabin, we already have various production exposure to the metal on this website as well as development/exploration exposure. However, on our longer-term focused N50 website, we also have some material silver exposure via FTSE 100 Fresnillo (FRES) – shares in which are, at 920p, up more than 18% from a last year high in October and up 48% in 2025 to-date. Meanwhile, despite a good rise following recent results, for shares in smaller peer Hochschild Mining (HOC), a 235.5p offer price compares to above 240p reached last October and only 10% up in 2025 to-date. As gold and silver price excitement further builds, the following is why we can see a 350p+ share price here and potentially well above that on real sector excitement developing.
