Once again I asked you for a small Christmas donation for Woodlarks. Once again you were very generous. I thank you. Every year our hero Nick Richards (below) and a team of volunteers build a special Santa's grotto at the Woodlarks campsite. Last year we had over 200 children from special needs schools and children’s hospices visit the site for a great day out which culminated in each getting a present from Santa. we aim to do the same again (or more) in 2018. But, as you know, Woodlarks has very little cash and this costs about £2,500 to put on. So... well you did it. With gift aid we have just over £3,000 raised to ensure the best grotto yet. Thank you all for your generosity.
Joshua and I will try to head up in December to get photos of how your donations are spent but what with the olive harvest etc I make no promises. But somehow we will get some photos and publish them here.
