Is Technology Minerals now trading while insolvent thanks to Irish taxman - guidance suggests yes! Shares need suspending!

By Tom Winnifrith | Friday 28 February 2025

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

The guidance below suggests that Technology Minerals (TM1) will have to pay Irish tax on the $10 million nominal value of its disposal of its Lithium assets. The shares it got for payment can now be sold but are unlikely to realise even $1.5 million. Technology has no cash and is burning cash. That would thus make it insolvent. Hence an RNS is needed asap and the shares could be suspended pending clarification at any time. Read the guidance below: what do you think?
