Stelrad – emphasises 2024 operating profit “up 17.6%”, but what about bottom-line performance?…

By Steve Moore | Friday 7 March 2025

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

Most recently on company describing itself as “a leading specialist manufacturer and distributor of steel panel and other designer radiators in the UK, Europe and Turkey” Stelrad Group (SRAD), in January with the shares around 140p I wrote ‘argues “another year of strong growth in profitability”. Er, what about in earnings per share?’, concluding I continued to await evidence of commenced material demand recovery. The shares most recently closed at 139.5p and what about them currently down towards 130p on the back of the company’s 2024 results announcement?
