The halfway point has been reached. At this point, Brokerman Dan has been informed that the £25,000 barrier has been broken and he will be duty bound to walk the final mile in his Man U pants. But why has the 33 mile trek been extended by a half-mile?...

5 Slam-dunk sells for 2018 – July update
I suggested five stocks to sell for 2018 as part of the ShareProphets Christmas tipfest some seven months ago. This tale this month shows just how mad the AIM market is in this bull market: it seems that investors have simply lost their senses.

Tesla - Musk Looks Like He is Losing the Plot
Tesla (NASDAQ - TSLA) reports Q2 numbers after the close on Wednesday and after Elon Musk’s bizarre performance on the Q1 earnings call, this one is likely to be box office. Far from learning from that meltdown back in May, his behaviour since has been even more erratic - with his spiteful reference on twitter to the British diver involved in the Thai cave rescue as “that pedo guy” and, more recently, his contacting the boss of a vociferous critic on twitter “Montana Skeptic”, with threats of legal action.

Thirty Three Miles of Bad Road Gives Time to Ponder the Very Best Rules for Making Gelt in Shareland
Hello Share Seekers. It's not too late to cough up for the rogue blogger walk to be undertaken by those including Uncle Tom (you can do so HERE). Even if it's finished by the time you read this. And that small action will stop him pestering us. While you have to acknowledge that to give youngsters who're truly up against it a decent holiday they would never otherwise enjoy is a worthwhile cause - and a half.

This is the night before at our hotel in Dorking. Andrew Bell had yet to pitch up so this is Brokerman Dan, Lucian Miers, myself and Joshua standing in for Bell. Joshua hit the bottle hard, Lucian followed suit. Myself and Dan kept a clear head as we start walking at 5.30 AM. To help us raise £25,000 or more for a great cause - and if we raise more than £25,000 to ensure Dan walks the last of 33 miles in his underwear, please make a small donation HERE

24 Hours before Woodlarks walk now less than £1300 shy of £25,000 target to see BMD walk in underwear
Two days before the great Woodlarks walk for charity we reached our £20,000 target thanks to numerous donations big and small. Among those chipping in material amounts this weej were Mark Slater, Jim Mellon and my Mrs, and we thank them and you all. But we continue to ask those who have not donated to chip in as we up our target to £25,000 and here’s why...

Tern – Waseem Shakoor kicks the hornets’ nest
Great bear Waseem Shakoor has responded to AIM-listed Tern (TERN) and its £2.9 million placing at 26p by suggesting that the company took advantage of a stock shortage to get the share issue away. If he is right, the implications are shocking.

Friday I'm in love (with a higher BT Group share price)
It has been a busy, busy week and sad sacks like me are going to be bent over a hot laptop during the weekend catching up with the multitude of earnings numbers published by corporate names around the world this week. Turning to London-based results specifically, some good news within the UK market today for the old stalwart BT Group (BT.A).

I Impel 'Em to Look at Impellam, If They Want to Invest in a Company that May Be Just the Job
Hello, Share Bunnies. A long time ago, I dumped my shares in Impellam (IPEL) though I think my wife may still be a holder. I recall that I followed some advice on this beautiful website to part company with this across-the-board recruitment agency. They'd had a good run and so I made a handsome profit. But the company seemed to be running out of steam. Yet if I were commended to buy the share today, I might do so on the latest results.
