Sharestock 2024 it's 7th September at the Welsh Hovel & Matt Earl, the Dark Destroyer, almost completes the speaker line up at the Welsh Hovel, book your seat today!

By Tom Winnifrith | Sunday 3 March 2024

If you have attended for either of the past two years you know what fun it is. My plan is to do at least two more years but we shall see. There are so many variables in life. Anyhow we are all set for 2024 and the date is fixed at Saturday 7th September. We now have a nearly complete speaker line up and it is top notch!

The latest speaker to be announced is Matt Earl, aka the Dark Destroyer who did not get a full slot last year thanks to the antics of Frisby but made up for it leading the boozing late into the night. This year he has a full slot and joins Lucian Miers, the Bard of the Boleyn and Joshua's Godfather, Pete "fag-ash" Brailey, Evil Banksta, Boatman Capital, Jim Mellon and myself on main stage. There will also be 4 CEOs grilled by me. 1 returnee and three newbies.

Joshua's out of school Welsh teacher and eleven of his friends from the local male voice choir will be entertaining you with a selection of Welsh classics during the traditional supper of cold salmon, home grown stuffed marrows and potatoes and salad from the garden followed by home made ice cream and possibly Joshua and i will make Bara Brith for teatime. In honour of my great Aunt (the younger actress who is not Maureen O'Hara below) there will be Myfanwy, Joshua will join in with Sospan Fach and much more.

And Chef Viyay will serve up a spectacular Indian lunch. I will organise a special sandwich for anyone who does not like curry. It will all take place on the lawns at my family farm here in Wales, half way between Wrexham and Chester.

So put the date in your diary and if you want to buy tickets at 2023 prices
you can do so HERE. .
