Why both my pension fund and I are passing on an ice cream from Unilever

What is your favourite Unilever (ULVR) product? Whilst some of you may mention Hellmann’s, Colman’s, Percil, Dove or even Domestos, I guess the majority of people will say at least one of Magnum, Carte D’Or, Ben & Jerry’s or Cornetto. And collectively, for a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business, it is always fantastic to have great brands. So, is it good or worrying news that this morning’s first half results from the company show less than 50% of its products are taking market share? And what does the new CEO think about all of this?
