How do you feel about Lookers plc (LOOK), which describes itself as “one of the UK's leading integrated automotive retail and service groups”? Eight months ago, I described the company as “an avoid for me”, during which time the shares have gone both down and up and have ended little changed. Is the company correct to call today’s full year 2022 numbers an “excellent performance against strong headwinds”, with “strong growth momentum leading to higher profit expectations for 2023”, or not?
