ALD

Enter the Great British Bank Challenge with a Look at Aldemore.

Hello Share Carollers. Despite Wild Rides’ consistent scepticism, I still favour investing in all of the four biggest banks at the mo. The recent rallies of Barclays (BARC) RBS (RBS) Lloyds(LLOY) and the Honkers Bonkers (HSBA) surely support  this view.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The great ladies man David Williams not that bombastic prick from Avanti

Getting my excuses in early: if I make any errors it is because I cannot see properly for reasons I explain. I then look at Aortech (AOR), Eden (FRAUD), Aurum Mining (AUR) as in David Williams, Karelian Diamonds (KDR), Falanx (FLX),  in real detail FastForward (FFWD), another hugely overvalued ramp in which my good friend Jim Mellon is involved and finally Hotel Chocolat (HOTC) where I have misgivings. For photos of chocolate as art taken by me on Monday go HERE

Cloudbuy Trading Statement: no rush to buy

Having announced on 2 December that it had drawn another £1 million from its secured funding package, leaving me wondering how long it would be before the company had to get out the begging bowl, AIM-listed Cloudbuy (CBUY) has at least delivered on its promise of a trading statement before the end of the year, if not yet the lorry-loads of Hartleys long overdue.

Is this the most incompetent company listed in London and is WH Ireland the worst ISDX Adviser?

Talk about incompetence. This gem is from ISDX listed FT8 PMC ( GFT) and I can do no more that run the statement below with my comments in bold. Words just fail me.

ZYT

Zytronic serves up good results - buy

Recent share tip of ours Zytronic (ZYT) has announced results for its year ended 30th September 2016 and that its new “year has started well with orders, revenue and current trading ahead of the same period last year”.

PTD

Pittards – not a wonderful time of the year here AGAIN, profit warning…

This does not seem to be a wonderful time of the year for leather goods producer Pittards (PTD). In 2014, there was shocking news it didn’t tell of, last year a 23rd December “materially below” expectations profit warning and this year we now have a “Situation in Ethiopia and Trading Update” announcement. As you may have guessed, it ain't good...

Eden Research: Profits warning, Terpenetech fraud not addressed, running out of cash again!

Today's end of year trading statement from Eden Research (EDEN) is a disaster. It does its best to distract you from a looming cash crunch and a profits warning but what it also makes clear is that the Terpenetech deal of August 2015 was a fraud. How do we know? Because it is not mentioned. It is swept under the carpet. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD I say again FRAUD.

Mercom Capital – Guys, guys, have we got a deal for you?

I only wrote about Mercom Capital (MCC) at the weekend commenting on the strange goings-on, particularly the share price continuing to hit new highs on hype and hope alone (and a lot of Calvet buying!) at the same time as the funding round being reduced. Today’s announcement of further changes to the proposal adds to the mystery.

The stockmarket comeback of Jason Drummond of Teathers infamy, thanks to Fatty Cornish - but uh oh legals looming?

Those who lost money on Teathers Financial (TEA) must have assumed that there would be no stockmarket comeback for those involved in incidents such as THIS and THIS as well as the complete wipeout for shareholders. No self respecting adviser would inflict another such creation on public markets would they. But we reckoned without London's worst Nomad, the tax averse Mr Roland "Fatty" Cornish.

Convicted felon Aidan Earley of Worthington infamy goes into bat for Cloudtag - labels Tom Winnifrith a corporate serial killer

The increasingly deranged ramblings of convicted criminal Aidan Earley of Worthington (WRN) infamy get more bizarre with the poor man now going into bat on behalf of Cloudtag (CTAG). Poor Amit Ben Haim, with friends like this no wonder his shares are tanking.

Today's Advent Reading is from The Book of Earley Chapter 11 Verses 12-17 - Praise be the Lord

And on the second day in the town of Banstead in the province of Norfolk, Jesus led his disciples into the Temple. And the money changers in the Temple were filled with a great fear, having heard tidings from the shepherds that Jesus had driven their trade from the Temple in Jerusalem.

Slater & Gordon in new probe - was it cooking the books pre Quindell? I reckon it was.

Oh dear, it just gets worse and worse for Aussie law firm Slater & Gordon (SGH), the near bankrupt owner of the fraudulent Quenron (QPP) businesses. It has now fessed up that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has served it with two notices to produce documents relating to an “investigation into the accuracy of financial records and accounts of the company for the period between 1 December 2014 and 29 September 2015”.

Tom No Likey This Medical Pioneer - But I Do

Hello Share Rattlers. Quite a few of my friends face a grim Christmas. They are undergoing radio and chemo treatment for cancer. Is it me, or is the number of cases growing even faster than normal?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Cloudtag - this is why a 100% wipeout is inevitable (and Mkango you are bastards)

I am not in the best of moods today. But that is not the fault of JK Rowling as her film (see yesterday) was actually not bad. In the firing line a detailed look at Avanti Communications (AVN), a lot of questions about the Worthington (WRN) fraud now in liquidation and questions for the FCA/UKLA about that. I look at Cloudtag (CTAG) another fraud and another zero in waiting, at 1Spatial (SPA) and at the bastards at Mkango (MKA) - and how they legged over punters at the Mining Maven seminar. The bastards.

Cloudtag - no forced clarifying statement for 5 days, now another one is needed

In an article earlier today by Nigel Somerville, we raised the question of how and when Cloudtag (CTAG) incurred £50,000 of costs on the issue of the first part of Tranche 2 of the L1 loan notes and whether it was an additional fees levied for the restructuring the L1 Loan notes. Since this fraud and its hapless Nomad Cairn have not been forced to put out a statement clarifying prior deceptions for five whole days, I fear its time for another one. You see...

ESG

eServGlobal – full-year results, to “provide further evidence of our success”. Really?

eServGlobal (ESG) has announced results for its year ended 31st October 2016 emphasising “steady progress in the re-alignment of the business” and “we are confident we will provide further evidence of our success in the year ahead”. Hmmm…

Today's Advent Reading is from The Book of Earley Chapter 11 Verses 2-7

Lo and it came to pass that Jesus and his followers were travelling in the land known as Norfolk to the small town of Banstead. And as they entered the town they encountered a man who told all that he was of great faith.

Photo article: Sefton AGM today? Er..when? Where is the notice?

The word on the street is that the AGM of Sefton Resources (SER) is to be held today at the Essex offices of ADVFN PLC (AFN) - the head honchos at both company's being the same. Flip flop Ben Turney, who now owns almost 13% of the stock says that ADVFN boss Clem Chambers has slammed the phone down on him as he tried to confirm this.
