Mkango Resources – LIARS claim “company transforming transaction”. Is it feck.

An announcement from now AIM as well as Canada-listed POS (as there were insufficient mug punters left in Canada), Mkango Resources (MKA) includes news of “a placing of 12,857,124 common shares at 3.5 UK pence per common share”. But wait a maple leafed minute, the June AIM Admission Document included that “working capital will be sufficient for at least the 12 months following Admission”!

Falanx - very cheering AGM Statement Indeed

The AGM of Falanx (FLX) on Thursday was a cheerful affair. We tipped these shares at a 4.25p offer in May. They are now 6.75p-7.5p. ot only were all the usual tedious resolutions passed but there was an upbeat trading statement.

After 2017, is there going to be a Europe to actually to leave?

The EU and the euro project have been an economic disaster for all participants, including Germany, which will eventually be forced to write off the hard-earned savings she has lent to other Eurozone members. We know, with absolute certainty that the euro will self-destruct and the Eurozone will disintegrate, only the timing is debatable. We know this for one reason above all, the political class and the ECB are guided by economic beliefs mascarading as theory which will guarantee this outcome. Furthermore, they insist on using bogus statistics that are used to reinforce inappropriate and illegal policies.

Tom Winnifrith Podcast: Discussing Big Sofa with Adam Reynolds

Big Sofa Technologies (BST) IPO'd on AIM today at 17p - the shares are now 21p. It is the latest Adam Reynolds stock and we own "a few" shares. I recorded this podcast to discuss the investment case with Adam.

Video of convicted criminal Aidan Earley on Faith & Money

Convicted felon Aidan Earley who is banned from being a company director last week fessed up to intimate involvement in Worthington (WRN), the fraud now being run by an administrator. He also libelled me suggesting, inter alia, that I may have been involved in a £40 million insurance scam and fire even though CCTV and other documentary evidence shows that was not the case. So what makes Aidan tick. Watch him in action at a UK Investor show and judge for yourself...

Five hot share tips for just £5 - starts Monday 7.45 AM (TODAY!): Don't miss out!

On Friday we published an update on a tip from a few months ago. We tipped the shares at a 4.25p offer, they are now 6.75p to sell so that is not a bad return for 5 months work. BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH! The shares are still cheap and we won't be advising selling till they are 8p or more which they will be very soon.

UPDATED: Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: was it Cloudtag fined £75,000 by AIM Regulation - a dark day of shame for the Casino

Update. I have it on good authority that it was NOT Cloudtag fined. Hpefully uit will be. The share tip I mention at 7.45 can be accessed for £5 HERE. The notice of the £75,000 fine by AIM Regulation on an un-named company, levied last Thursday is HERE. That company not Cloudtag (CTAG) - it should be. Whoever it is should fess up. This is a dark day for AIM as it has fined the wrong party (the shareholders not the board) and in not naming the company it also screws the shareholders again. Regulators have form with private censures that let everyone down. I compare this to the 3DM scandal.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The K to O of AIM fraud & a dire warning on property

I start this podcast with an absolutely dire warning on property as an asset class. Malcolm Stacey is wrong just look at the most recent Begbies data and think about it long and hard. Then I continue my series on AIM fraud. A to E is HERE. F to J is HERE and today I look at K to O covering Kevin Ashton, Lawyer's Letters, Minmet and Mike Walters, New World Oil & Gas and Odey Asset Management. I stress Odey is not a fraud but I'm making a general point about fund managers. My Scrooge article I mentioned is HERE. The next part of this series is P to T - any suggestions for what Q and T might cover?

Result: Bulletin Board Moron of the Week sponsored by semi naked Cloudtag backer Hayley Whittaker - with more semi naked photos

An eagle eyed reader points out that Cloudtag (CTAG) Moron Hayley Whittaker and her pea brained twin sister the Quindell (QPP) Moron Kate have yet more semi naked photos posted on line. Given how their investments are doing I remain keen to support their modelling careers so am happy to bring you more action pics. Meanwhile to last week's BB Moron of the week contest sponsored by Hayley. There were lots of entrants as you can see HERE but the winner and the new photos are below.

Invest in silver now for future shortages in supply

Other than a few months around the start of the year, we are now seeing silver back at its lowest levels since mid-2009, and I can see a strong bounce coming soon.

BEG

Begbies Results - still a buy

Business recovery and property services group Begbies Traynor (BEG) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st October 2016 and that “for the year as a whole, we anticipate growth in earnings, in line with expectations”.

Vislink – a great example of a “when the facts change” volte face

Shares in AIM-listed Vislink (VLK) have had a roller-coaster couple of years. They started 2015 at around 41p, raced ahead to 60p by mid-year (2015) but now languish at just 12.625p as at last week’s close. Having been tipped by Steve Moore in the ShareProphets 2015 Christmas tipfest as well as making an appearance on the Nifty Fifty courtesy of Steve and Tom Winnifrith did it all go wrong for the duo? Er, no. As the old saying goes, “when the facts change”….

Rivington goes bust: I blame Tom Winnifrith no er hang on Brexit er no hang on...

Naturally a headline about Rivington going bust grabbed my eye. Rivington was the firm I founded but which went bust two years after I left after all its businesses were asset stripped by others. But natch go ahead and blame me. But this is a different Rivington although no doubt Aiden Earley and the Bulletin Board Morons will also try to pin the demise of Rivington Biscuits on me too.

Mercom Capital – is this actually just another Calvet stock promotion?

With Mercom Capital’s (MCC) share price rising ever higher in recent weeks, I felt it merited an update from my last piece in October as the situation is getting ever stranger and I suggest care needs to be taken from here.
