Frontera - weasel words & not via RNS - the hallmarks of an evasive shyster
Last week I suggested that grossly over-ramped AIM Bulletin Board Moron darling Frontera Resources (FRR) might be in a spot of legal bother. I did so only after giving the company's morally bankrupt PR firm Yellow Jersey and its dirty tricks disgraced account manager Tim Thompson a chance to refuse or comment. They have still declined to do so. Instead...

Looking forward to the UK Investor Show – my shopping list
Less than a week to go to the UK Investor Show and it promises to be far and away the best yet. If you’ve not booked a ticket you’d better hurry up – they are running out fast. Lob in the promo code SP10 and you’ll get a freebie investor class ticket – you can’t say fairer than that! Looking down the list of companies present, I have already compiled a list of who I want to see and also what I am doing on the day.

Why does Avesoro Resources look so cheap on paper?
West African gold miner Avesoro Resources (ASO) hadn’t been performing as well as investors had hoped since it started production, but things finally seem to all be coming together now.

Advanced Oncotherapy – first mover in the UK? Er….
My thanks to two eagle-eyed ShareProphets readers who have posted in the comments sections of my pieces asking about AIM-listed Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) and its funding from Yantai Cipu in China, and the now expired, secured (on Advanced’s Harley Street premises), Blackfinch loan. We’ve still not heard a thing about either which is rapidly drawing me to a conclusion as to the answers. Not to worry: I’ll ask (for the fourth time) again tomorrow. But, with big hat-tips to Drunken Sailor and Daniel Victor, it seems that Advanced isn’t even getting over the line at Harley Street before two other proton therapy centres (one of which is up and running already) come on stream. It seems that first mover advantage has already been lost.

ITV – another one for the dividend muncher’s list
I’ve been wandering through my list of tasty-looking dividend plays identified HERE for further additions to my dividend muncher’s list. The first was BT (BT.A) which I bought at 225p and has since risen nicely to 241.5p. We’ll see how this plays out when its results are released early next month, but so far, so good. My second choice was Centrica (CAN), but I haven’t taken the plunge there yet. Working down my list of high yields, it has been too easy to rule out most of them but I alighted on ITV (ITV) and I wonder if now may prove a good time to climb on board.

Notes from Underground: If a Bear casts in the woods...
Five of the top ten articles this week are Bearcasts. I have mentioned innumerable times my belief that we should just dump the text and have all writers record their stories instead. But the powers that be never see my vision, man.

Video: Setup for a Breakout in precious metals but When?
Over to the only technical analyst not to be dismissed out of hand, Jordan Roy Byrne who argues that gold failed at resistance Wednesday but remains in position to break out anywhere from very soon to in the summer. Its increasing relative strength has brought it very close to a breakout. Meanwhile, the stocks are trading in tighter and tighter ranges and are set to move up aggressively and sustain it if Gold can close above $1360-$1370. It is all in the latest video from Palisade Capital.

Purplebricks: new German money should not distract from warning on revenue; sell at 330p
Shares in Purplebricks (PURP) have had a good run of late, hitting 355p the other day, just a fraction shy of the price at which the German firm Axel Springer invested £125 million on the 26th of last month. Don't lose heart my fellow bears...

How to Make the Very Most of Next Saturday's Big, Big, Big UK Investor Show.
Hello Share Packers. We all know the big UK Investor Show is at Westminster next week, compere Mr Malcolm Stacey. And, because you’re serious enough about shares to be on this magnificent website now, I bet we’ll be meeting a few of you on Saturday. I’ve been attending the show for years now, so allow me the impertinence of giving a few tips on how to wring the best from your visit.

Advanced Oncotherapy – still no answer to my questions, but does the market know something I don’t?
I have asked the same questions of AIM-listed Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) twice before but there has been nothing forthcoming from Advanced Towers. Here we go again, on the day that marks three weeks from the end of Advanced’s loan from Blackfinch, a loan which is secured on its Harley Street premises and a loan which has not yet been announced to have been paid back. Advanced may be coy about answering, but it seems the market has been voting with its feet.

A 1:15pm announcement of a change of adviser from AIM-listed Grafenia (GRA). Hmmm, a strange time to announce that – though I note it accompanied with Issue of Equity…

Reloaded: Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - my new fecking phone is the shepherd of Porlock, apologies & a P45 for Darren Atwater
Version 2. Darren cut off 6 minutes of the podcast first time around. I am a nice guy. I will not fire him...until Monday. After many years I have upgraded from a Nokia brick to a sort of smart phone but I cannot work out how to answer calls or indeed shut it off or put it on silent. So in this podcast it very much plays the shepherd of Porlock. In the podcast itself I discuss my domestic arrangements ahead of the return of the Mrs and a weekend with the mother-in-law ( some of us have all the luck) then look at TrakM8 (TRAK), RM2 (RM2), Online Blockchain (OBC) and reminisce about Sefton (SER) and Jimmyliar Ellerton, prompted by a long chat with Brokerman Dan last night. In detail I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) which looks, to me, an increasingly sick puppy. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. G3 Exploration, formerly Green Dragon Gas, and Greka Drilling - have you heard about the $12.5 million fine, the record falsifying and worse?
Anyone owning shares in G3 Exploration (G3E), the howler formerly known as Green Dragon Gas, or Greka Drilling (GDL) is bonkers given that both companies are in a parlous financial state but also given their track record of swimming through seas of red flags. Remember the bloody dossier? Well here is another massive red flag from the sister company also run by Randeep S Grewal, California based Greka Oil & Gas.

Utilitywise – Woodford-backed dog down again on accounting update
Shares in Utilitywise (UTW) are currently approaching 10% further lower, towards 30p, on the back of an update on the financial impact to it of accounting standard IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), interpretations of which are mandatory for future accounting periods from the start of 2018…

TrakM8: a treble whammy of bad news for it - I'm celebrating
For those of us who have been 100% vindicated with our bearishness on TrakM8 (TRAK) today is a bit of a party because we find ourselves celebrating not one but three pieces of bad news. And we are not the only ones celebrating.
I would imagine that Lorne Daniel, an honourable man, who is the research analyst covering tech round at FinnCap will also be on cloud nine as he will never have to write another supportive corporate broker note on this dog ever again. For the first news is that TrakM8 is switching Nomad and broker from FinnCap to Arden Partners.

Air Partner - after £4m profits overstatement , CFO walks with immediate effect: More questions to be answered
Someone, other than the worm formerly in the accounts department who stands accused of covering up an up to £4 million profits overstatement, had to pay the penalty for the mess at Air Partner (AIR). Hopefully its prize shit of a PR man Tom Allinson will be next but the first to walk the plank is Chief Financial Officer, Neil Morris.
