When oil bounces, Premier could easily see a quick 50% rise
Premier Oil (PMO) has always been highly geared towards movements in the oil price, so it is hardly surprising that its share price has been dropping recently.

Notes from Underground: In today's news, people who don't subscribe get bad information
I was amused to see some ShareProphets detractors on Twitter comment on Lucian Miers' correction to a detail on his Versarian (VRS) short. (Myself, I'm long with Versarian with around ten entire shares in my portfolio.)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the game changing news for my family & is the Telit disposal falling apart?
In today's podcast I reveal what that game changing news I alluded to ten days ago is. I discuss why its wrong to blame Brexit for everything (as per Malcolm AGAIN today and others) and look at the particular problems of the EU, an economic corpse in waiting. Why would anyone wnat to tie us to such a zombie? Finally a look at Telit (TCM). Is its disposal of auto collapsing? A statement is needed. The shares look sickly.

Five slam-dunk sells for 2018 – November update and change of stance on one share
My little portfolio of shares to dump for this year has shown some surprising resilience through the year. Of course it has always been down but some of the shares seem to be propped up in the same way a cartoon characted runs off the edge of a cliff but doesn’t fall until he looks down. But I suspect the wheels may be about to come off in some cases before year-end, and in one case imminently.

Correction on Versarien, though still a stonking short at 123p
It has been pointed out to me recently that an article I wrote last month on Versarien (VRS) has been the subject of some debate on twitter. My offending sentence was:

Creightons – positive response to interims, but still looks much more to come
A 28p offer price October tip from ourselves, shares in developer, manufacturer and marketer of toiletries and fragrances Creightons (CRL) have now risen comfortably above 30p on the back of results for the company’s half-year ended 30th September 2018…

Sosandar – I might be in a minority of one, but….
I think we all agree that AIM-listed Sosandar (SOS) is a “good” rather than a “bad” company here on ShareProphets, it is just the valuation which some (quite understandably) question. The company filed its interims on Wednesday and I have to say that overall I was pretty pleased, although the cashburn might be a worry.

Share Portfolio Tumbling? Perhaps Not, if You Do Penny Stocks.
Hello, Share Swipers. If your shares are toppling backwards at the moment, you may have the balance wrong between big cap companies and penny stocks. My portfolio is probably split 50-50, with very few firms in the boring middle range. Off course, its the Footsie giants which are most affected by the general slide. Then penny shares, as usual, are going their own way, be it up or down.

Directa Plus – new agreements & argues “good progress” and “increasing confidence”, but what does it all mean financially?
Writing on Directa Plus (DCTA) in September, with the shares up to circa 70p, I questioned do road test & CEO share purchase merit the shares soaring?. Now, an “Environmental Sale and Participation in Trial” announcement today has followed a trading update yesterday…

Sabien -99.7% value destruction since IPO, another bailout placing, it won’t be the last
Oh dear! Bad news from the boiler room. In this case I refer not to the offices of Peterhouse Corporate Finance, broker to this dog but to Sabien (SNT) itself, yet another company that planned to revolutionise the world of boilers when it raised money at 52p and listed in December 2006. Today’s latest bailout placing is at 0.1p and the owners of the 400 million pieces of confetti issued will end up owning 64% of the enlarged equity. More dilution vicar? It will not be the last.

Seeing Machines – CFO “to step down” as company regales a litany of success. Really?
I noted in September not ‘pleased’ to announce results from Seeing Machines (SEE) – and now the company announces that “James Palmer, Chief Financial Officer, is to step down from his position for personal reasons”. Hmmm…

Interserve – well, well, what a surprise!
Following the suggestion from the BBC that fully listed Interserve (IRV) was planning to tap up its shareholders for cash, and the non-denial which didn’t even mention it from Interserve, today the cat has partially escaped from the bag. We are told this morning that a Deleveraging plan [is] movng forward for announcement in early 2019. Given that year-end net debt is expected by the company to sit at between £625-650 million and the market capitalisation is (last seen) down to just £49 million it is clear that the BBC story is only partially true, as I suggested HERE.

Mobile Streams – ramptastic user number RNS Reach. Hmmm, why now I wonder?
A “MOS welcome the 6 millionth user”-titled announcement from Mobile Streams (MOS) sounds ramptastic… and it’s an RNS Reach (“non-regulatory news releases such as marketing messages, corporate and product information”). Alarm bells ringing…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: why Frontera could be a zero within days & the old offshore based asset stripper Jim Mellon does his annual spoof
In today's bearcast I explian where I was yesterday afternoon with Joshua. Roaarrrr! Then I look at Condor Gold (CNR), Galantas (GAL), Amur (DOG), Flybe (FLYB), Asiamet (ARS), the spoofing by the loathsome & always wrong CBI and at Frontera Resources (FRR) and why it could be a zero within days.

Optibiotix – Greek deal, news via Adam Reynolds keyboard but better to come – BUY
Shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) have not been immune to the general market sell off and trade at 64p-66p despite some more positive news. The frustration is that it has been announced with a release typed on the Adam Reynolds keyboard, the one with no numbers on it. But fear not bigger deals with real numbers will follow shortly...

FW Thorpe – warns, but with main business orders “have started to recover” is a 13%+ share price fall justified?
A 12:45pm “AGM Statement” from FW Thorpe (TFW) included “orders for our main business, Thorlux Lighting, were slow in the first quarter but have started to recover in October and November… other parts of the group continue to perform well”. Does such really justify an approaching 14% share price decline? – the shares sliding below 250p…
