AIM-listed Midatech (MTPH) is a cancer-busting company which uses its Q-Sphera technology which, according to Proative Investors, works in a different way to deliver the drug at the right time. Ah, so we have a disruptive cancer-buster…..step forward Neil Woodford, who backed the IPO back in 2014 (at 267p vs share price now just 3.4p!) and ponied up to support placings along the way. Oh dear. But it gets worse……although the PR comedy this morning makes up for it!

Petropavlovsk (POG) has updated including “total gold production for 2018 was 422.3Koz… the group is targeting FY 2019 gold production of 450 - 500Koz”, with it “very proud to report the successful commissioning of our cornerstone project, the Pokrovskiy Pressure Oxidation plant”…

Earthport (EPO) has announced a 33p per share recommended offer from Mastercard, valuing it at approximately £233 million and trumping a prior 30p per share recommended offer from Visa. But haven’t we been bearish here?...

Frontera Resources (FRR) did not wish to leave the AIM Casino. Having its shares freely traded meant it was able to obtain death spiral finance to bay its bills. No trading facility, no death spiral, no future. But…
