These are the most-read articles and most listened-to Bearcasts of the week. The most read non-Tom non Darren article is “Shanta Gold – Potential Offer: Is A Bidding Frenzy Starting In Gold Stocks?” by Nigel Somerville at number six or number 11 if you include Bearcasts.

If the name Caracal Gold (GCAT) does not ring a bell, count yourself lucky not to have this dig in your portfolio because it is a zero and one where the FCA should be crawling all over everything. Until 16 months ago, Caracal went by another name.Published 1 January 2022, 10:50
After a bumper crop of dodgy RNS announcements on Christmas Eve there was more fun and games yesterday with another slew of dreadful results and other dodgy announcements as more companies joined the craze of slipping out bad news when no-one was watching. But ShareProphets was watching and here is a summary – enjoy!

The Financial Conduct Authority has confirmed new listing rules which came into force today. Under those new rules the FCA is:

I start with the Mrs heading to a conference. She was map reading as we drove to the airport. We missed two turns so were late. Naturally that was my fault I then move on to the mendacity if the Autumn statement and then to naughtiness at Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT), called out by Charles Tatnall, for once a hero not a villain, as you can see below. Then it is Ariana Resources (AAU), Regtech Open (RTOP), and Victoria (VCP) which really could be a zero, Stay short.Published 18 January 2025, 16:31
The document below is the attempt by Technology Minerals (TM1) t raise £5 million back in 2020 to RTO into Stranger Holdings, a vehicle of the chancers Tatnall and Longley. That deal failed but the document, below, is instructive. First of all, there is the stench of Chris Cleverly.Published 10 October 2024, 11:57
Caracal Gold (GCAT) yesterday announced a change of auditor. At first glance it looks like Caracal did a better job than Supply@Me Capital (SYME) handling its auditor resignation because it has already found a new auditor. However….Published 26 December 2019, 08:40
Having been visited by the Ghost from Christmas Past I got a bit confused and befuddled over the deadline for this year’s ShareProphets Bury Bad News Christmas Sweepstake. Since then, of course, I’ve seen a few more ghosts, including the one for Christmas Present and the bury bad news sweepstake certainly threw up a good few of those (for non-shareholders). So who won?

Having not completed an RTO within six months of becoming a shell, shares in Plutus Powergen (PPG) were suspended from the AIM sewer this morning but fear not: Charles Tatnall and James Longley have a US coal RTO “oven ready” as Lyin’ Boris Johnson might say. Natch it is what is not in the release that should horrify you although that contains at least one absolutely monstrous lie.

The PR person for Plutus Powergen (PPG) is the Cheryl Cole of her world, but even more classy. But not even her charms can save her client from more comment from myself, notwithstanding appeals from head honcho James Longley that I remove prior, harsh but accurate comment HERE.

Ahead of the start of my training for the 2020 Woodlarks walk on June 13 I appeal for volunteers - who will join me on this 34 mile trek? Then there is an update on my literary efforts. Then it seems asn if Nu-OG (NUOG) may be the third company dragged into the criminal activiuty on private chat-rooms scandal. Just how big is this? Then I turn to Plutus Powergen(PPG) where the useless and venal board survived a sack the board GM narrowly. C'mon, our resident in-house Euro loon Jonathan Price, who now asserts as an insult that my Dad and I are "posh", how about you start campaigning for a confirmatory second people's GM?

We’re only a tenth through the year, but the ShareProphets team have already produced some real crackers.Published 28 June 2016, 01:27
I’ll be honest with you, the Sub-Standard Shockers XI squad is always in need of bolstering with its plethora of suspensions, so I was thrilled to see the announcement last Friday of Papillon Holdings (PPHP) coming to the market via the Standard Segment of the Official List. However, I still needed to assess whether it was fit enough to get in to the team.

This is another situation where I ask for valuable feedback from our readers and Tom will add an editor's note reading something like "Darren is being utterly mad."

WARNING: THis podcast contains some bad language. In terms of the liar, James Longley I am talking about you though I sedem to have mixed you up with your partner in crime Charles Tatnall in the podcast. Though you two have a stable of dogs on the market including Papillion, Starnger and Plutus Powergen it is Fandango Holdings (FHP) about which I have questions today. Then I have a detailed look at the dire results from worthless Mosman Oil & Gas (MSM) before heading onto Indigovision (IND) and WYG (WYG).

When those who attack you whether it be with lies or just pointless digs are obvious wrong un's you know that you are on the side of the angels. Being accused of market abuse and oterr fictional criimes by a convicted bank robber and market abuser is a good thing. Being lambasted as a rubbish journalist by bulletin board morons up to their necks in AIM listed frauds is a good sign. And that brings me to Whinny-Froth Holdings Ltd.

If you are listening to bearcast today you must have subscribed to Shareprophets so I thank you. I start with management who are cleary wronguns at Real Good Foods (RGD) which is a disgrace and at Papillion (PPHP) which is far worse - hat tip Cynical Bear HERE. I look at Interserve (IRV). Its shares are slumping on a profits alert but the real horrors are the lies in the August 9 results statement. Still valued at £124 million this could halve again look at debt! Then it is onto MySquar (MYSQ) a good bet for a zero, and finally a trio of oilies, Range Resources (RRL) - its au revoir not goodbye - Pantheon (PANR) dreary and overvalued by a reasonable amount and Sound Energy (SOU) where the valuation is a 100% rum and coke.

This is a wide ranging bearcast and given my assertion that Charles Tatnall and James Longley are not fit to run the public lavatory at Athens Bus Station I thought I'd fill you in with a bit more detail about that place, what the job entails and why these scallywags are just not up to it. I cover in this podcast Papillion Holdings (PPHP), MySquar (MYSQ), ITM Power (ITM), Fulham Shore (FUL), TrakM8 (TRAK) and, of course, World War three. And ahead of 11 AM tomorrow I remind you to ALL SIGN UP HERE NOW!

I don’t normally comment on the ongoing delays of the potential RTO’s of Sub-Standard Shocker XI members as I would be writing on the topic every week but the Levrett (LVRT) story throws up another angle, namely the total disregard to the obligation to announce results; so without a Nomad to enforce compliance with listing obligations, I thought I’d see if I would have any luck.

My heart sunk last week as I noted that the Plutus Powergen (PPG) boys were at it again with their third Sub-Standard List effort coming to the market in just over a year, despite the first two efforts being absolute flops. Oh well, welcome Fandango Holdings (FHP), you’re in the squad– let’s take a look.
