BREAKING: You thought Neill Ricketts had gone from Versarien – think again: it's OFFICIAL
A spokesman for Versarien (VRS) has got back to me after the articles I ran yesterday saying that the 3D printing equipment is not for sale ( at present) however much the ex CEO Neill Ricketts may want to buy it and that my predictions that all the cash would have gone by October were unduly pessimistic. Okay let’s call it November then. But the real shocker is that, whatever it has said publicly Neill Rickets is still in the building.- By Tom Winnifrith |

I am back with these bonus video shows. I am still re-adjusting myself to zoom so if my face looks a bit funny in part 2 there is a reason. I hope you enjoy the show.- By Tom Winnifrith |

Superdry – high interest rate “secondary lending facility”, how’s the previous “brand is recovering well” going?!
Previously writing on branded clothing, accessories and footwear company Superdry (SDRY), in May with the shares falling to around 80p I questioned it arguing “the brand is recovering well… believes that the equity raise, along with the suite of measures… will provide the stable base necessary to underpin future success”. And today… a “Secondary lending facility of up to £25m” announcement. After little more than three months, brand recovery and equity raise and related measures now not providing the necessary stable base then?!

EXPOSE: Has Neill Ricketts left Versarien after all or is CFO Chris Leigh just useless?
I bring you screenshots of the Companies House page of three Versarien (VRS) subsidiaries where Ricketts is still down as a director. There may be more but I make my point with these three. Is this:- By Tom Winnifrith, the Sheriff of AIM |

LSL Property Services – trading update, how’s that “simpler and more resilient business model” going?…
An AGM statement two and a half months ago from LSL Property Services (LSL) saw it “continue to expect an improvement in H2, supported by the remortgage market and increasing consumer confidence” and noting it pleased with “very substantial progress” with a strategy set out just over two years ago to “as well as capitalising on the significant growth potential we had identified in Financial Services, we resolved to develop a simpler and more resilient business model that was less vulnerable to housing market cycles”. So what of now a latest trading update?- By Steve Moore |

Christie – ‘not indications of lacks of intent to proceed with instructed transactions’, or is there?...
A few months ago Professional & Financial Services and Stock/Inventory Systems & Services group Christie (CTG) stated “deal congestion and other factors” meant that it believed its full-year performance would be further second-half weighted but that its “expectations of trading for the full year to 31st December 2023 remain unchanged”. What then of today a “trading update”?- By Steve Moore |

BREAKING: Rumours of Versarien smash and grab raid by Neill Ricketts
Such is the cash crisis at Versarien (VRS) that it is not just the non-core operations that are up for sale. The reality is that anything can go whether it is nailed down or not. The cash runs out in early October, at the latest, and the rumours from those close to the struggling operation is that disgraced ex CEO Neil Ricketts (still costing the company £21,000 a month until next Spring) is on manoeuvres.- By Tom Winnifrith, the Sheriff of AIM |

Caracal Gold – letter to the FCA: please sir chuck out the prospectus
Last week Caracal Gold (GCAT) gave an update for investors where, natch, it did not give us key metrics such as the (lack of ) cash position. It did, however update, us on the position re getting FCA approval for a prospectus which would allow it to issue gazillions more shares so diluting mug punters to buggery. “The company submitted the first draft of the prospectus to the FCA for approval on 18 April 2023. The company is working with its advisers to seek approval of the prospectus by the FCA and will update the market in due course.”- By Tom Winnifrith |

Even if job search is going up globally, so is employment sector change for PageGroup
I see that PageGroup (PAGE) shares are actually up just over 6% over the last year. That is actually quite impressive for an employment company, given that its half year numbers out this morning are showing even a 2% year-on-year gross profit decline (even before you get to the near halving of the equivalent operating profit number). And, whilst the special dividend was nearly halved, I do also note that the interim dividend is up a touch. Why does the employment company have a little bit of confidence given the employment change and creation backdrop is hardly currently straightforward?- By Chris Bailey |

Vast Resources should be doing a show at the Edinburgh Festival
The last comedy set I saw at the Festival was almost 30 years ago: the rapping rabbi. It was so offensive that the small audience was rapidly depleted by walkouts and pretty soon I was about the only person still there. I think of this as my daughter Olaf performs in a play which even she admits is woke nonsense.- By Tom Winnifrith |

Turning £1.1 million to 1 Euro in 17 months: the magic of Gerry the arse Brandon
The wind-down of the POS that is Deepverge (DVRG) continues with its 1 remaining employee clearly working hard. Today we discover that Glanaco, bought for £1.1 million in March 2022 under the stewardship of disgraced Gerry Brandon, has been sold back to its original management team for just 1 Euro. Actually, it was worse than that.- By Tom Winnifrith, the Sheriff of AIM |

Big Box Business Beats Britain's Blight to Bag Better Profits
Hello Share Finders. It's sadly rare to find a company reporting increased profits in these difficult days. But one of my regular favourites, Tritax Big Box (BBOX) has done it. This very modern version of a warehouse king has announced that underlying operating profit for the half year has improved by 7.5%.- By Malcolm Stacey |

The greed of Roland Fatty Cornish – annual accounts out from London's worst Nomad
London’s worst Nomad, Beaumont Cornish acts for dreadful small cap stocks that nobody would miss if they went bust. The frauds it has given a clean pass to are manifest, Johnny Hon’s Global Group to New World Oil & Gas, Daniel Stewart the list goes on and on. Its report for calendar 2022 is out and the word that screams out at you is GREED. This is more shocking than the penury of Turner Pope exposed here.- By Tom Winnifrith |
