Yawn. Another day, another Denial of Service attack

Sorry everyone, but we’ve been under a Denial of Service attack for much of the afternoon. Behind the scenes we take certain actions to mitigate against it but that always results in some ShareProphets services acting in odd ways. Please bear with us.

The technique used today – and they have been testing it over the past few weeks – is different from before but the purpose is the same: ShareProphets is publishing something that someone doesn’t want known and they want us shut down.

Who that is, we do have our suspicions but because it costs money to launch a Denial of Service attack, most of our suspects would come up short.

So please be patient with us if something seems off today but take heart that your £6.99 per month is not just paying for great journalism, it’s making the right people very very unhappy.
