Oh dear! Jon Belliss and Dave Lenigas are your “friends”!? I thought you were the “sheriff”? Should the gamekeeper be rubbing shoulders with two poachers? Congratulations on Quindell but you’ve gone from hero to zero in one afternoon.

Good on you for having the grace to apologise in the bearcast.
I note that you refer to the fact that you have not had an apology from those who abused you but how about you having the balls to apologise to Ben Harrington the Betaville blogger to whom you directed dogs abuse when he got the scoop on the S&G deal? Do you remember what you said about him? You poured an unprecedented amount of vitriol over the poor chap, called his journalistic competency into question (completely trashed him), called him a quisling and were adamant that he was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!
He turned out to be right but here we are, weeks, months down the line and you still have not been big enough to offer anything by way of the fulsome apology that the chap deserved.
You can’t have it both ways Tom!

As Jesus wandered through Jericho a short man clambered into a tree to see him. That man shared a name with me (my third name) for he was Zacchaeus. He was a tax collector, a sinner, and he wanted to speak with Jesus and Jesus spoke to him. At that point Woody44 (the priests) objected saying “but he is a sinner, how can you speak to him?
That did not mean that Zacchaeus will have escaped on the day of judgement unless he truly repented. Which I seem to remember that he did.
My point, I am friends with everyone. I am not Jesus not do I think that I am but I am happy to chat to anyone. That is how I get scoop after scoop after frigging scoop.
But does that mean that someone I describe as a friend gets a free pass? Of course not. We have given big dave Lenigas a far harder time than anyone. If someone sins they do not need to wait for St Peter for a day of reckoning, I am ahead of him in the line to make judgement.
As it happens there are friends ( ie the whole world, I shall speak to anyone bar perhaps Rob Terry) and then there are real friends. Those I count on my fingers and toes
