Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hey Robbie Burns are you Darren Winters in a cheap suit? And why First Derivatives shares should more than halve!
Apparently Robbie Burns, The Naked Trader, is giving Darren Winters style uber expensive and useless trading courses at which he terms me a drunk. Hmmmm... As a sub 5 units a week man, my PA investing is not going so badly that I have to resort to being Darren Winters in a cheap suit. The bulk of this podcast is on First Derivatives (FDP). After yesterday's bombshell expose I explain why the shares - down 25% last week - could easily more than halve again from here.

Dividend Munchers’ List – October update
Well, here we are a month on from my last update and there has been a bit of excitement in my small portfolio of FTSE100 high-yielders which I hope will ride out any market storms ahead. I say excitement – but nothing has changed: ITV made noises about bidding for Endemol and then announced that it wasn’t going to after all. The shares went down, and then recovered on the two bits of news, so I guess the management got the message!

Notes from Underground - Thanksgiving again
Long time readers of this feature know that around this time of year I celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with other ex-pat Canadians. But, you may ask, what does it actually involve? We've all seen films showing Americans celebrating their lesser Thanksgiving held in November, is it the same?

First Derivatives - is this a smoking gun?
Matt Earl has already done valuable work on First Derivatives (FDP). But is there a smoking gun? Let's rewind sixteen years...2002 was a tough year to launch a tech IPO.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Time for an October stockmarket crash? What to do?
I start with a warning that this is a beer and popcorn day as we watch wailing BBC presenters, snowflakes, ugly feminists and other losers wailing as Brett Kavanaugh joins the Supreme Court. I have written about the persecution of Kavanaugh extensively HERE and shall be celebrating tonight, as those involved in this witch hunt, shed tears. Bring it on. Next up: will the stockmarket crash this October and if so what to do? Here are a few practical tips for you all.

Is Tesla this decade's Lehman Brothers? Is it already in accounting hell? I vote Yes!
US fund manager David Einhorn is having a fairly dismal 2018 but his long term record is good and his biggest short, Tesla (TSLA) is paying off. In his latest missive to investors he compared pothead liar Elon Musk's fraud to Lehman Brothers. Can you really argue with a word he says?

Standard-listed AIQ – gravity starting to assert itself
The shenanigans of the Standard-Listing of AIQ are well documented here on ShareProphets, which included an incomplete prospectus, two suspensions due to a disorderly market (the IPO shares couldn’t be traded) and a fund-raising which was delayed – all in its first five months as a listed company! Meanwhile, with assets (all cash – it is a cash-shell) of around 8p a share, the price rocketed to an incredible 135p. We have been saying sell all along.

Chris Bailey, Farm Animals, Airlines, Nuclear Energy and the Big Dilemma.
Hello, Share Scrimpers. Some of us consider ourselves ethical investors. We do not buy shares in companies with products and services which we think may harm people or the environment. But some of us have different views on what is ‘ethical. Now my colleague on this beautiful site Chris Bailey is an enlightened man.

Haydale – shares tanking again. When's the placing (if you can)?
I can’t help but notice that shares in AIM-listed Haydale have been on the slide once more. Today they are off by another 13.2% - I wonder if the company wants to issue a statement as to the reason why? Na….thought not. Well, just to help out Haydale (‘cos we are such nice guys)…..

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - First Derivatives More to Come (ho, ho, ho - crack out the ouzo)
Our Winnileaks Matt Earl special on First Derivatives (FDP) has set the cat amongst the pigeons. But I have bad news for the men from God's chosen lands of Ulster who run First. I have more and hope to air soon. Ho ho ho. Get the ouzo and ice ready. In this podcast I also cover spoofing at BlueJay (JAY), Fastjet (FJET), Frontera (FRR), the scandal at Indigovision (IND) which is enough to have us all voting for Jeremy Corbyn, Mayan (MYN) and, in some detail, Condor Gold (CNR), the gold dog which has sent so much of the cash of my good pal Jim Mellon to money heaven. I fear Jim will have to get his wallet out again soon.

IndigoVision – “Posting of Circular & Notice of General Meeting” announcement a disgrace - & shame on the remuneration committee
A “Posting of Circular & Notice of General Meeting” announcement from IndigoVision (IND) sounds innocuous – though the first paragraph then states it is “for the purpose of approving a new Long Term Incentive Plan”. Hmmm…

Video: Gold often has a false move before THE big move
David Erfle is a skeptic when it comes to the junior mining sector. He became involved in the resource market in 2003, shortly after losing a good portion of his investments in the dot.com crash. Those lessons helped him look for sectors that are undervalued.

Mayan Energy - CEO walks but the lunatics still run the asylum
For reasons not explained the CEO of Mayan Energy (MYN) has quit with immediate effect. The City's No 1 oil analyst Zac Phillips thinks this is a good move, although probably a prelude to yet another bailout placing. But his report is still damning and is below.

Bluejay, spoof share purchases, more disgusting behaviour & a blatant lie from disgraced SP Angel and the questions mount
This morning BlueJay Mining (JAY) announced that three directors had bought shares. That is a spoof. The amounts are not material and the aim is to try and arrest the share price slide. If anything such spoofing is itself another reason to sell. It gets worse…
