Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: fake sheiks & Nomads in the doghouse on another day of utter shame for the scandal plagued AIM Casino

I start with an update on ADVFN's paedo guy, then it is onto the role of Nomads on the AIM Casino, what they are meant to do and the problems they face. I look at three Nomads and their clients: Lekoil (LEK), Versarien (VRS) and Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG) plus I discuss Tizania (TILS) and today's monster spoof from almost insolvent Iconic Labs (ICON).

Timebomb

We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality...

We all know that price has lost connection with reality, and so every speculator and algo is one second away from hitting "sell" and locking in the gains from the greatest manipulated bubble known to mankind...

WALG

Filthy Forty Walcom – limping on….and on. When oh when will the shares be suspended?

ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty play Walcom (WALG) updated at lunchtime today that after weeks of prevaricating its CEO and CFO, Mr Francis Chi, has finally signed on the dotted line to give the company a lifeline in the form of a further loan of HK$ 270,000. But as lifelines go, this is as short as it gets for even with further loans which may or may or may not follow we are told that the cash will still run out in early February.

Fake Sheikh alert yet again on the AIM casino - Lekoil shares suspended

Just over a week ago, Peter Brailey wrote on this website on AIM-listed, Nigeria and West Africa oil and gas-focused, Lekoil (LEK) it’s a good deal for the Partner and CEO..but is it for shareholders?, concluding it is simply not a business that I could invest in at the current time. This followed him having earlier included it as a back-up for the Vomit List. He might want to consider ‘promoting’ it to the list after an update on the ‘funding deal’ today – though it’ll require the shares' return from suspension first!...

Bombshell: The truth about the lawsuit that should sink Anglo African Oil & Gas & see its board and, Possibly, Nomad sacked

On 8 January 2019, embattled and almost insolvent Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG) admitted that it had received a legal claim from  Askell Limited but it told shareholders not to worry as “it believes the Askell claim is without merit.” Au contraire.. a City source has given me the full SP and the scale and nature of the claim are massive and should sink the company. As such the RNS was utterly misleading.

Bulletin Board Moron of the week in honour of Neill Ricketts is….

It was indeed a Versarien (WRS) owning moron who picked up this award… yes its ADVFN paedo guy ( that is he claims I am one) bgt1

Anglo African Oil & Gas & Zenith Energy – Spooooooooooooooooooooof! as GM vote passed

I assumed, as it turns out correctly, that the GM held today to approve Anglo African’s (AAOG) duff deal to sell 80% of its stake in the Tilapia field to fellow AIM dog Zenith (ZEN) would go Anglo’s way. But just to make sure the two companies served up a massive spoof today … the RNS is total crap.

CPC

The City Pub Group – “pleased with the overall performance of the group for 2019” = a trading warning?!

“Owner and operator of 47 premium pubs across Southern England and Wales”, The City Pub Group (CPC) has announced a “Year End Trading Update”, including “the board is pleased with the overall performance of the group for 2019”. The shares are currently at 197.5p – er, more than 9% lower on the day!…

Versarien – another letter to AIM Regulation

Neill Ricketts continues to operate an almost Trappist new media silence suggesting that my letter to AIM Regulation and his Nomad Bobbie Hilliam of Canaccord about the private Versarien (VRS) Discord chat room is being taken very seriously indeed. However, over the weekend evidence emerged HERE of just how fragrantly Neill Ricketts breaks AIM Rules and so I have written again.

TILS

Tizania to dump its AIM quote - mea culpa

Hello Share Mates. Last week I commended a medical pioneer to your attention because it had just announced exciting news. The Nasdaq and AIM-listed Tiziana (TILS)was given an encouraging boost by the Harvard Medical School no less for a positive test for its Foralumab drug for boosting the immune system.

Gambling on more professionalism in the betting industry

Two interesting gambling sector stories over the last day or so. Yesterday there was a report that credit card payments were set to be banned by the Gambling Commission in order to protect troubled gamblers who max out their credit lines in search of funds to keep playing, leading in almost all cases to bad debts and other personal and social ills. The Commission wants electronic payments to be limited to just debit cards and this is undoubtedly eminently sensible. All of this is just another step along the road of professionalism for the gambling industry…

Oil from Russia and Ukraine may be Politically Sensitive, but this Oiler Still Seems Promising

Hello Share Peekers. I’ve always regretted my very long-term holding in JKX Oil & Gas (JKX), the middle range producer. That’s because the share value has eroded sharply over the years. However, things now seem to be picking up...

Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest: In honour of Neill Ricketts

Just for one week, the contest is being brought back at the request of reader Juicin. The rules are slighty changed in honour of Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS). What we are looking for is the most moroniic comment on shares on the LSE, iii or ADVFN Asylums or twitter. But this week you can also add in comments on the private Discord chat room where Ricketts tells lies to investors without his Nomad, hapless Quindell loving Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord, knowing anything about it! The deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday 12 January ( my birthday). Entries in the comments section below.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The Mail on Sunday takes dick-tation from NMC's PR guys & shall I take down ADVFN's paedo guy?

First things first. It is 6 months and 1 day to the 3 Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks walk. I did a short train yesterday at Moel Famau of which more later. Anhow, if you enjoy bearcast please show so by donating HERE.  Thanks in advance for your support and also for the birthday wishes. As you can see in the comments section HERE there is a poster on ADVFN who seems to think he can save Versarien (VRS) by suggesting, falsely, that I am a paedophile. Normally I'd ignore such pond life but I am almost tempted to teach him a very expensive legal lesson in libel law. What do you think?  Then it is onto a story dictated by NMC Health's (NMC) PR team to yellow journalists at the Mail on Sunday. The real import of threats against Caron Block & Muddy Waters is very negative for NMC. Finally I have a bombshell for AIM Cesspit followers tomorrow. Watch this space!

Hostelworld has had a rough patch but pays a good dividend and could turn things around - buy

Although my main focus is in the oil and mining sectors, I do also follow quite a few shares which don’t fall into this category, with Hostelworld (HSW) being one of them.

Sunday stories: Amigo remains unbelievably grubby, Dignity remains exposed to structural change

The headlines this morning are full of stories about the royal family and money.  That is all a bit grubby.  Meanwhile in the corporate world I see the James Benamor, the founder of Amigo (AMGO) - the guarantor lender with a desperately flawed business model which I have described before as no friend of mine  - has just paid paid himself a £2.9 million dividend via his holding company.

The ShareProphets Sunday Pub Quiz #19
