A controversial figure but saviour of ShareProphets: Gary Withey RIP

Published 2 October 2019, 10:30

55 is too young to die. But sadly it appears that lawyer Gary Withey has passed away suddenly and of natural causes. He was a controversial figure but a friend of mine and a saviour of this website.

The Worthington Fraud shocking part 22 – Pension Fund Cash used to repay money Aiden Earley & Craig Whyte took from Worthington

Published 1 March 2015, 11:17

The contents of this article have had to be withdrawn – on a temporary basis because of an interim injunction granted to Mr Aiden Earley. We are appealing this matter as we believe that the activities of this convicted crook and disqualified director, and shadow director at Worthington, merit a wider audience. If you can make a small contribution to our rapidly growing legal bill to ensure that Earley is exposed please do so. Details of why we need assistance and how to help are HERE

The Most Amateurish Annual Return in Corporate History – Rangers, Worthington and the knitting patterns

Published 9 October 2015, 01:22

Hat tip to a reader for flagging up this gem from Companies House, an Annual Return submitted for The Rangers FC Group Limited, part of the Worthington Group (WRN) which thinks it can extract £10 million from creditors of Old Rangers. This is sheer genius mickey-mouse stuff thanks to clown Richard Spurway.

Rangers International Football Club plc – possible offer & new credit facility as the extraordinary travails continue

Published 5 January 2015, 05:25

I previously concluded early last month on Rangers International Football Club (RFC) that the foundations looked to remain not those of a solid investment proposition. The following updates after announcements today of a possible offer and up to £0.5 million credit facility.

Tern – er, about that clarification RNS of 7 Jan 2015….

Published 8 February 2015, 01:57

When Angus Forrest and his board at Tern (TERN) finally got around to addressing some of the issues raised here on ShareProphets regarding wrong filings to Companies House, shares apparently being issued at the wrong price, the non-disclosure of Tern’s beneficial ownership of Cryptosoft etc etc, we were treated to an RNS on 7 Jan 2015. But that clarification RNS – signed off by Angus Forrest and no doubt checked and verified by Nomad WH Ireland (employer of shamed Rangers advisor and China fraud specialist Paul Shackleton) - was, er, wrong.

The Worthington Fraud part 13 – 2014 Interim Results That Deceive (back to Rangers FC)

Published 22 February 2015, 00:04

The results for the six months to March 31 2014 for the fraud Worthington (WRN) were finally released on 29th August 2014. A child of three should have been able to see through them but on the Bulletin Boards the enthusiasm was almost overwhelming – the investing public fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Worthington, Rangers, the £20 million loan notes and the landlord of the Red Lion

Published 19 April 2016, 04:49

Brace yourselves: this is sheer comedy involving the fraud Worthington (WRN) and the Rangers pantomime brought to you from the bar of the Red Lion in Whiteleaf, Princes Risborough, Bucks where your host is landlord Tim Hibbert.

Rangers boss Dave King slammed by Takeover Panel for numerous rule breaches - 4 year cold shoulder imposed

Published 11 October 2019, 14:17

FCA regulated institutions will still be able to deal with Rangers FC, should they want to associate themselves with the financially toxic soccer club, but as of today they can have no dealings at all with its chairman Dave King. The cold shoulder ruling was imposed by the Takeover Panel today.

Notes from Underground - Never say never again: a Perfect 19 for TW

Published 4 October 2015, 05:26

I though that we had reached peak Tom when he had written 8 out of the top-ten articles last week on his sabbatical. But no, Fortuna always rolls for the big win, and this week the Sheriff of AIM has actually written 10 out of the top-ten articles. On. His. Sabbatical.

Video: Tom Winnifrith Responds to the Worthington Statement - Bring on the Police

Published 17 February 2015, 04:30

I presented in Clerkenwell last night and a video of my ten minute talk rebutting in full a statement of lies by a company engaged in fraud was recorded. Worthington has reported me to the Police. I am not afraid as I have done nothing wrong. Worthington is a fraud and I welcome the chance to hand over documents that prove that to the Old Bill. However, I would rather go to jail that reveal my source and will not under any circumstances reveal my source.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: On dangerous ground telling a joke about crap Scottish Football

Published 13 March 2017, 07:00

As the Rangers (RFC) comedy show is back into town again. I could not resist it. Elewhere I discuss Challenger (CHAL), Concha (CHA), a golden stockmarket rule or two, Strategic Minerals (SML) and how its honesty on matters LOC compares to that of the liars running the fraud African Potash (AFPO), Quadrise Fuels (QFI) and then in some detail, Telit Communications (TCM)

Notes from Underground - Ireland defeats Canada - at least I'm not sacked

Published 20 September 2015, 01:29

Unfortunately, Canada lost at the rugby yesterday and thus everything this morning seems dull and lifeless but we persevere. As they lost to Ireland, speaking about it to Tom can only be a lesson in humiliation. But at least Tom will not sack me as he threatened to do should Ireland lose.

Tern - Yet more clarifications of the clarification of 7 Jan 2015 needed

Published 10 February 2015, 02:07

Tern (TERN) has today issued an omnishambles of a misleading results statement. I shall turn to that later. But before then let’s look at yesterday’s omnishambles RNS from crony capitalist Angus Forrest. A clarification of a clarification of a clarification is still needed.

Sefton – Victory for Team Market abuser Chris Oil. Or is it?

Published 29 September 2015, 04:33

We all knew that at the October 6 EGM, team Chris Oil would win and that the current directors – bar Jossy Rachmantio would be booted out to be replaced by ADVFN’s (AFN) Clem Chambers and Mike Hodges.  Sefton (SER) has now thrown in the towel but the drama is far from over.

Worthington & Law Financial to face first strike off notice in 5 days - Reader Post of the day

Published 25 September 2015, 00:41

A cracking entry from the comments section - this has to be reader post of the day. It seems that Worthington PLC (WRN) is just five days away from its first notice of being struck off for failing to file documents at Companies House. Also up for strike off is Law Financial which is trying to extract money from Rangers (#RFC) but will clearly fail if this is an indication of how organised it is This cracking post reads:

Worthington fraud part 17: Doug Ware running scared and meanwhile can he explain why his financial adviser quit – another leaked letter emerges?

Published 27 February 2015, 01:07

Worthington asked me for an address where it can serve legal letters on me for libel citing all sorts of legalese as to why I should comply and adding that if I had nothing to hide I should have no concerns. I have nothing to hide as it is a fraud and so I provided an address. Eight days ago I demanded that Worthington’s lawyers provide a service address for Doug Ware…

Sefton: The Real Reason ZAI refused to act as Nomad, the market abuse (Chris Oil) and what next?

Published 12 October 2015, 02:13

As predicted on Sunday in yet another scoop for this website, ZAI Corporate Finance, led by heroic Big Ray Zimmerman, has refused to act as Nomad for the proposed new management team at Carry on up the Sefton Resources (SER). We can now reveal the real reason for this, flag up yet more market abuse by Chris Oil and suggest what happens next.

Worthington - with CV's like this how can anyone take it seriously?

Published 2 October 2015, 00:43

We all know that Craig Whyte and Aiden Earley have "colourful pasts" and that Doug Ware is a greedy bastard of no ethics as we showed again earlier HERE, but the supporting cast at joke company Worthington (WRN) are even more hilarous. How can anyone take them seriously? I am grateful to a reader who is clearly a Worthingtonologist for posting twice about Nick James. Who is Nick?
