The Police in two countries are now seeking a word with Julie Meyer MBE and it is not for advice on how to hold a prayer meeting. It seems for a while that Julie has been a bit paranoid about all the leaks of damaging information about her. So in December she instructed her lawyer Peter Bradley to send the letter below to her countless ex employees. It threatened dire consequences if it was passed on. Natch someone has and I publish it in full. What is it that Julie Meyer is so keen to hide? How long have you got?

Private & Confidential – This letter is private to you and Ariadne Capital and is not to be shared with anyone else in alignment with your post-termination responsibilities in your engagement agreements.
Dear xx,
Your engagement with Ariadne Capital came with some post-termination requirements not to share information that you have gained about Ariadne Capital and/or its Directors and Officers during your employment with the firm. You voluntarily agreed to adhere to these when you joined Ariadne Capital and/or EntrepreneurCountry.
The founding shareholders have insisted on this clause in all employee and consultancy agreements.
It has come to our attention that there are some anonymous posts from individuals purporting to be ex employees of Ariadne Capital. Whereas we do not believe that any of our employees or consultants would violate agreements where their professional conduct and ethics would be discredited by doing this, we need to have on record that as a former employee of Ariadne Capital and/or consultant, that you state clearly that you have not posted anywhere online or shared with anyone outside of Ariadne anything that you have learned about Ariadne Capital and/or its Directors and Officers. This will enable us to create a list of former employees who have confirmed that they are not involved with this defamatory and damaging behaviour and unprofessional conduct. We will be pursuing for quantified damages those employees who are caught having posted or publishing or sharing confidential information with the view of damaging Ariadne. We have a number of employees who are aware of others who have done this – their ex-colleagues, and have offered names of those responsible. Rather than take these names as given, we are giving everyone a chance to clear themselves of this illegal activity by going on the record themselves.
If you do know about anyone who has posted, published or shared information which is private and confidential to Ariadne Capital, please send the individual’s name to me as soon as possible.
If you have for whatever reason, shared information that you shouldn’t have, and/or posted something that you shouldn’t have, then please let us know at your earliest convenience, and we can take a view on what we do as a result. We will be unsympathetic if you do not share this proactively.
Please therefore sign this letter making this Statement of Truth, and send it back to julie.beadle@ariadnecapital.com no later than 1 December 2017. If we do not hear back from you, we may have to assume that you have potentially been in breach of your post-termination responsibilities, and you will hear from us again.
The Ariadne shareholders are united in their determination to pursue to the fullest extent of the law and in any jurisdiction this kind of damage of the business that they have built.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Peter Bradley
