On lighting systems company FW Thorpe (TFW) a year ago with the shares down to 360p I wrote “pleased to announce” results including “solid start to 2023/24”, but how “solid” really considering the valuation?, which concluded questioning how confident to be of growth and to avoid/sell. The shares most recently closed at 311p and what of now the company’s “pleased to announce” results for its year ended 30th June 2024?
Most recently writing on construction equipment rental company Vp plc (VP.), in June with the shares up to 700p I concluded that I was cautious on it being able to meet its current year expectations and thus then avoided. What of today acquisition and trading update announcements, and the shares currently down to around 600p?
Most recently writing on company describing itself as “the UK's leading tile specialist” Topps Tiles (TPT), in August with the shares rising above 45p I concluded that I remained cautious on the balance sheet and the trading performance ahead of full-year detail and continued to avoid. So what of now a “Q4 Trading Update”, and the shares currently at 43.95p?
