Noting yesterday that Julie Meyer MBE had hired a new high powered lawyer (to replace the half dozen or more to whom her companies owe money for unpaid bills) I wondered why ace PR spinner Henry Gewanter did not have his name on the release. Henry has answered with a post on the article. It reads:
I can answer that, Tom: it's because Julie hired me and promised to sign our contract "by close of business tomorrow", but never signed it and subsequently said she didn't have to pay me because she never signed.
Sadly, as your readers are becoming all too well aware, Julie Meyer's honesty or integrity is not to be relied on.
I just hope her current lawyers have been paid in advance so they don't have to sue her for non-payment as so many others before them have had to do.
Kind regards,
Henry Gewanter
Ends.
If course Meyer also has form when it comes to not paying PR firms as well (ref Lansons) as well as staff and other suppliers. Can anyone detect a p;attern here? I have told Henry that if he wishes to take Julie to Court I will fund the his costs in return for a slug of the winnings and would encourage him to take up my offer.
On the subject of lawyers I wonder why she needs an external lawyer to contact journalists who run "inaccurate" when she already had in house lawyer Peter Bradley who has sent three letters to me alone as well as dozens of threatening missives to others - such as this one to ex staff?
I note that Bradley's LinkedIn profile has changed in that he appears no longer to work for Ariadne. On the record, he says he has a new client, one not mentioned on LinkedIn yet, who does not him to be seen to be working for anyone else, but that he will still be doing contracted work for Ariadne. Whatever.
So I wonder who will be sending my next fascist letter on behalf of devout Christian Julie Meyer MBE as the Winnileaks service has been sent an internal email which I shall publish later today or tomorrow. Tick Tock Tick Tock
