AIM-listed Haydale (HAYD) announced yesterday proposals to acquire Intelligent Resource Management Limited (IRM) in an all-share deal for up to £17.11 million based on Haydale’s then current share price, or £24.00 million if the proposed share issuance price is used. So is it a good deal? The jury’s out…..
As I suggested in February, the US subsidiary of AIM-listed Haydale Graphene Industries (HAYD) which was placed in Chapter 11 insolvency and put up for auction has resulted in nothing coming back to Haydale. It is being sold to Greenleaf Corporation for just $680,000 and we are told that the board does not anticipate any cash being returned.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! The POS that is AIM-listed Haydale (HAYD) has announced that its US subsidiary has been placed in Chapter 11 insolvency. The company merrily tells us that this will help with achieving “improved” profitability and cash flow. But it has never made a cent, instead acting as a one-way vessel for investors cash to the Great Central Bank in the Sky.
AIM-listed perma-disaster Haydale (HAYD) issued an RNS Reach this morning, claiming an agreement with Gerdau Graphene. That’s all very well, but the elephant in the room is that the company will be rattling the tin yet again before long and with the shares now bumping the bottom at just 0.36p a pop, the stock is set to be smashed yet again when the bucket shops have their pound of flesh.
The RNS says the deal with a Chinese customer is worth $4million but is it? Read beneath the headline and that is the sales value over five years. My guess is that the deliveries will be weighted towards the end of that period but even if they flow evenly over the period that is just $800,000 a year in revenues and a gross profit of just $480,000 a year, call it £400,000.

It is all very well to “incentivise staff” (you’ve gotta pay for talent, donchaknow) but this issue also saw old options priced at up to 6.25p swapped for new ones at just 0.5p. Following the disastrous performance of the company, this is a reward for failure – surely a case of snouts in the trough if ever there was one.
AIM-listed Haydale (HAYD) is really scraping the barrel – this morning it announced a grant of £73,610 to be shares between it and Liquitherm Technologies from the Welsh Government, and we don’t even know the proportions!

This, despite having to be bailed out yet again post-period with another massively dilutive rescue package as the company delivered a pre-tax loss of over £6.5 million! What on earth is there be pleased about?
