Kefi Gold & Copper – a told y’all “Recommencement of Development at Tulu Kapi Project” Buy

Hopefully you heeded our recent views on Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) as, though a share price fall to around 0.6p suggested a Tulu Kapi project development recommencement decision would be fraught, we argued otherwise and now there is an RNS announcing a “Recommencement of Development at Tulu Kapi Project” and the shares are currently up to 0.75p.

KEFI

Kefi: Rejoice, rejoice

Even late last night I was being assured by certain esteemed readers of thus website including old Mr. Nuggetty Gold that the Tulu Kapi mine in Ethiopia would NOT be built and that Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) where I am a loyal shareholder was a sell at 0.6p. Today an RNS…please line up to apologise…

KEFI

Kefi Gold & Copper – interims, risk/reward Strong Buy

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has issued its half-year 2026 results including that following a serious security incident at its Tulu Kapi gold project in Ethiopia “development activities were immediately suspended with a view to resumption in a carefully sequenced manner. Consultations with representatives of the local community and the Ethiopian and Oromia governments, and their respective agencies have reaffirmed support for the project and for the company’s careful approach to resuming development. Principal contractors, lenders and local investors also remain supportive”. So where now for the shares from 0.6p?

KEFI

BREAKING: KEFI - Market abuse with apparently fake broker note

On both the ADVFN and LSE Bulletin Boards late afternoon there were postings of what purported to be an “independent broker note”. The company is aware of no note. The claims made in it are demonstrably false at a number of levels. And if you put it into AI it will tell you that it appears fake and is largely AI written. So it’s fake. But it has spooked investors.

New Kefi Presentation – some very big key takeaways

The presentation can be seen below and takes into account the awful attack on the Tulu Kapi camp on 4 September. To me it really is a very strong slide deck and reinforces why on a risk reward basis the shares are – at 0.72p - such a strong buy and I am, as you know, buying so drinking my own poison! For me, the key takeaways are:

KEFI

I think folks are being unfair regarding Kefi and immediate updates

I stand by my decision to buy more shares in Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) yesterday BECAUSE there was blood on the street. Time will tell whether I was brave and right and following a clear logic or whether I was just a fool. But this morning demands come in by email and I see similar demands on BBs saying that old ‘arry Adams is failing shareholders in mot providing an RNS update. As you know I will criticise ‘arry when I feel it is right to do so but on this matter folks are 100% wrong.

KEFI

When cowards flinch and traitors sneer…I have been brave and bought

Rothschild was asked why he was buying when there was blood on the streets. He answered that he was buying because there was blood on the streets and that had made everyone panic.  My friend and broker, the Dinosaur, and others think I’m foolish. I think I am brave but that my bravery is founded on solid logic. We shall see.

KEFI – Incident At Tulu Kapi Leaves Project Suspended….But A Buying Opportunity For The Brave

Shares in AIM-listed Kefi (KEFI) are sharply lower today at just over 0.7p (last seen) after the company announced that there had been a security incident last Friday which resulted in multiple fatalities amongst security personnel, community members and a company employee. Project development has been suspended and drawdowns of project finance have been deferred for the time being.

KEFI

KEFI – Very Good News…..And Bad, As Can Is Kicked Down The Road

AIM-listed Kefi Gold and Copper (KEFI) announced some very good news this morning. Tom Winnifrith has long speculated that Exec Chair ‘Arry Adams would move “upstairs” to a non-exec chairman role with a new CEO appointed, and that his sidekick FD, 176 year old Jon Leach, would be quietly pensioned off. This morning we got confirmation of both. Hooray, hooray – its ticker-tape and party-poppers time! Oh, hang on……

KEFI

Kefi Gold & Copper – a Tulu Kapi underground mine economic assessment suggests there value on even just that alone!, Buy

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has announced a “positive” Preliminary Economic Assessment for a Tulu Kapi underground mine and that it is now to commence detailed development planning for this. With the shares currently slightly higher in response at 1.225p, how “positive” is this latest news from the project in Ethiopia? Very!

KEFI

A letter to Harry Adams at Kefi

I have dropped trougher a note as a loyal shareholder in his company. As gold surges to $4500 and beyond Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) shares are only marginally ahead. I make a couple of helpful suggestions to address that point.

KEFI

Kefi Gold & Copper – “on schedule” for value creation unless Harry ‘trougher’ Adams takes actions otherwise

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has issued an “Operational Update” including that its Tulu Kapi gold project in Ethiopia “implementation programme remains on track” and that it is “also advancing development plans for self-funded production growth at Tulu Kapi and in the minority-owned portfolio in Saudi Arabia, and to establish a platform for a portfolio of projects across Ethiopia and the region”. What about those relative to a 1.06p share price, £146.5 million market cap?

KEFI

Kefi worth 5.33p, or is it 5.48p or 6.29p or is it 7.33p ponders the convicted felon

Yes it is Lord Ashbourne, otherwise known as the convicted felon Charlie Gibson, writing for paid for researcher Edison on Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI). This is paid for research so the old rogue is hardly going to say sell but there is some method in his valuations. FWIW my target price on a two year view, on the shares which are now 1.2p, remains 6p so I am not a million miles apart from the blue blooded bearded lunatic.
