Likewise Group (LIKE) has issued a “Strategic Acquisition” announcement, including that this “is a key milestone for the group as it now becomes the leading distributor of floor coverings in the UK”. With the shares now up to 39.5p from our 37p offer price tip last month, what’s the details?
UK floor coverings distributor Likewise Group (LIKE) has announced its first half of 2026 results headlined “Strong performance with FY26 now expected to be materially ahead of market expectations”. How good is the news from the valuation at a 35p share price?
Recently the company describing itself as “the UK’s leading floor coverings distributor” Headlam Group announced it had resolved to file a notice of intention to appoint administrators stating “the scale of the losses incurred, and projected in the short term, has made the challenge too great to overcome… against a market backdrop that continues to be challenging”. However, what about another listed-company describing itself as a “fast growing and most progressive flooring distributor in the UK”?
Describing itself as a “fast growing and progressive flooring distributor in the UK”, Likewise Group (LIKE) has issued a “Trading Update” commencing with that it “is pleased to announce that total group revenue for the year ended 31 December 2025 increased by 8.6% to £163.8 million”. What about the shares currently responding up to 26p, though still down from 28p in November?
Describing itself as a “fast growing UK flooring distributor”, Likewise Group (LIKE) has issued a “Trading Update” commencing with that it “is pleased that sales revenue has continued to increase in H2 by 7.4% with a new record month in October resulting in year to date increasing by 8.9%” and also including that it “will produce profit significantly ahead of previous years, notwithstanding absorbing the additional National Insurance Contribution costs. The group is still well on course to achieve its medium term objectives including growth in both sales revenue and profitability in 2026”. So what about a current share price response to 24.5p, 12.5% down?
