Skinbiotherapeutics – utterly dire news

Better late than never Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) has served up a (piss poor) delayed trading update and declined to offer specific guidance going forward other than to ‘fess that it is still loss making and burning cash. It has not yet secured anyone prepared to act as NED as it stated it would by mid September so what’s the good news?

SBTX

Good news travels fast but bad news….the case of Skinbiotherapeutics

On 24 August 2026 as Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) appointed a new interim CFO to replace the hapless Emily Bertram it stated “The Company is in advanced discussions with potential NED candidates and looks forward to updating the market in due course, and is also intending to issue a business update by mid-September which will include further Board updates.”

Skinbiotherapeutics Presentation – a curate’s egg

"You are not answering the f*cking question" I screamed at my screen as Alyson Levett failed to answer one of the questions I posed. Up until that point I was really quite impressed. So what are the key takeaways from today’s Investor Meet event.

SBTX

Skinbiotherapeutics: GOTCHA! Incompetent FD Emily Bertram resigns with almost immediate effect

First it was the prolific liar and fraudster Stuart Ashman, then the incompetent chairman Martin Hunt and now I have a third scalp: Emily Bertram who was appointed as CFO  in April 2025 and joined the board in January 2026 has resigned from Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) and will leave the company next Tuesday. Another head I demanded has rolled.

Skinbiotherapeutics Investor Meet June 29 & my questions

Quite rightly most questions submitted to the Investor Meet platform ahead of the rampfest will be about forward guidance: what is the cash position now at Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX), what is the cash burn, what are revised FY 2026 and 2027 estimates etc. But as a non shareholder and a nerd I have different questions that I have now submitted with no expectation at all of them being answered. I have asked:

Skinbiotherapeutics Letter from the Financial Reporting Council – yet another vindication for the Sherriff of AIM

Some folks are prolific liars. Some folks cheer on prolific liars and some folks get attacked for being a good guy who exposes prolific liars. If you believe that I am the source of all evil like crazy Meg Short at Bloomberg and so deserve to be “destroyed”, here is yet more evidence that I am a good guy and that you are just plain wrong and stupid and a disgrace to your profession.

Skinbiotherapeutics fraud enquiry update: this reads very badly

As I have noted many times, to hoots of derision from small furry rodents, Stuart Ashman’s fanboys and other denialists, if the only matter being investigated by FRP at Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) was the fraudulent recognition of accrued income from Croda, thus investigation which started in mid February would have been over by March. Today we have an update.

SBTX

Skinbiotherapeutics – what is taking so long?

A few readers pose the question. Shares in Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) have now been suspended for almost three weeks as a result of it not being able to get out its accounts for the six months to December 31 while enquiries continue into the fraudulent June 2025 numbers. But why is this taking so long?

ECOB reminds me of OPTI (although the scale of announcements are far greater and have actual numbers attached). I've viewed both businesses as having a interesting product and plausible business model but neither have actually delivered on that. How is ECOB picking up these contracts? They are so diverse, both geographically and it terms of languages spoken etc - where is the common thread that enables them to deliver these? It doesn't strike me that they would likely have a expansive international sales operation.I'd be a lot more comfortable if they were getting more projects off ground in Albania and the wider Balkan region as they would be able to technically and operationally serve such projects much more easily and really prove out the product.
