Sosandar – Full Year Trading Update In Difficult Times

AIM-listed ladieswear purveyor, Sosandar (SOS), released its full-year to March 31 trading update this morning. On the face of it, it was good news: lots of cash, it is expected to report a profit before tax and revenues were up by 14%. What’s not to like?!

SOS

Sosandar – Chewing Over Last Week’s Trading Update And Nigel Wray

AIM-listed purveyor of ladies clothing, Sosandar (SOS), hasn’t had the sort of stack market career its founders and early investors might have hoped for. There have been more U-turns in strategy than the Labour government and having promised profitability, it has never arrived. But with the shares now at a very lowly 7.5p and Nigel Wray having been piling in, is it time for a change of stance from my overtly bearish coverage over the past years?

SOS

Sosandar – “Trading Update”, have really ‘foundations been laid for sustained profitable and cash-generative growth’?

I’m sure that Nigel Somerville will write in more detail on a latest trading update from women’s fashion brand company Sosandar (SOS) in due course, but this is a quick note as the company headlines the update, “Momentum continues to build, with significant growth in own site revenue. Trading in line with Full Year expectations” and the shares in response are currently down more than 15% at below 7p.

SOS

Sosandar Bullshit and Options

Fat cat directors like to insist that options incentivize them and align their interests with we dirty shareholders. Its tosh. We risk our capital. The fat cats earn fat salaries and if the shares go up they have risk free upside. There is zero evidence that options make fat cats work harder or deliver greater returns. But what if the share price tanks?

SOS

Sosandar – FY Results And An SOS

AIM-listed ladieswear purveyor Sosandar (SOS) released its full year results to March this morning – and they were a horror show, with the market dumping the shares down a whopping 22% last seen, to just 6.25p.

SOS

Sosandar: when is the warning?

Corks and waves, corks and waves. On 26 November 2024 when unveiling piss poor interims, Sosandar (SOS) insisted that it was on track to meet, yet again revised down, full year numbers. I bet the birds who run it a fiver that it will not.

SOS

Sosandar – Half Year Results, Big Helping Of Hartley's As More Jam Tomorrow Promised

AIM-listed ladieswear purveyor Sosandar (SOS) served up its half year results to September this morning. As previously indicated, revenue fell quite heftily to £16.2 million as a result of reduced promotions and the loss was reduced to £0.7 million. The company promises a profit of £1 million at the full-year on the basis of in-line post-period performance, but that “in-line” is with reference to market expectations, which were heavily reduced (again…) only last month. As such, I’d suggest the promise of jam tomorrow should be taken with a pinch of salt especially in the current UK economic environment.

Only about 3.5 million files of approximately 6 million Epstein files have been released, and of those released many are heavily redacted by the Trump DOJ in Washington. The answer to your question may be in the redacted and unreleased files. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the DOJ is permitted to suppress explicit abuse materials.

There are more important things to worry about, like gilt yields and whether this country is going bust.If UK PLC was a company,it'd be a good short.

Tom,Re. Georgina: Can you not get hold of the Shire council reports from Aug 29th. and Sept 29th? There might be some indication of the current status in them.I noted that it wasn't just the roadworks that were an issue but they also wanted an airfield with a lighted runway in case of medical emergencies. Maybe a lighted helipad would do; that would be a much cheaper option.

So is there anything actually in the Epstein files implicating Trump directly in wrong doing? Unlike, say, Pres Clinton, No!.

AI Overview:Donald Trump is the most frequently mentioned public figure by raw count in the released Jeffrey Epstein documents, appearing in tens of thousands of references and files (though a large portion of these consist of news articles, media clippings, or press mentions shared or saved within Epstein's records)Trump was also recorded boasting that he was a pussy-grabber in the Access Hollywood tapes.

Why am I surprised at yet another farcical episode on the London market? As Tom has suggested for over 2 years, this stock has clearly always been one for one to add to their bargepole list. While I doubt that anybody reading this website would own GEX shares, unfortunately numerous BB mugs will have been lured into buying shares in this joke company. I understand that the bar for regulatory action by the FCA on Main Market listed shitcos appears to be set extremely high, but surely it should be taking action against companies who engage in such placings. The culture of companies materially misleading investors ahead of placings, while sitting on adverse price sensitive information, must be rooted out if London is to be considered a credible financial centre.
