Describing itself as the leading winemaker “as England continues to build its reputation as one of the world's most exciting new wine regions” (hmmm!), Chapel Down Group (CDGP) states that it “is pleased to provide its audited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024” and adds that it “is currently trading well ahead of prior year and expects strong sales growth for the year, with a return to full profitability”. So a 2024 loss then?

Describing itself as “England's leading and largest winemaker and the power brand of English wine, the world's newest international wine region” (hmmm!), Chapel Down Group (CDGP) has issued a “CEO Appointment, Directorate Change & Outlook”-titled announcement commencing that it “is delighted to announce the appointment of James Pennefather as Chief Executive Officer and director of Chapel Down, with James to commence his new role on 1st February” and including “trading in the important final quarter of the year has been strong”. So what of a currently up to 37p share price, though still down from around 70p as recently as September?
