ESYS

essensys – argues “results in line with expectations”, but what are the expectations?...

Self-styled “the leading global provider of mission critical software-as-a-service platforms and on-demand cloud services to the flexible workspace industry”, essensys (ESYS) has made a trading update emphasising “a robust performance in the first half of the year… results in line with expectations” and “increasing market opportunity”. The shares have responded further higher to 212.5p, so what’s the detail?…

Zenith Energy – The bombshell French letter: did it articulate prematurely re Tilapia?

Oh dear, this may well upset my new best friend, the UK’s leading healthcare analyst, Brokerman Dan but a letter has emerged which appears to suggest that Zenith Energy (ZEN) has been telling porkies about the status of its supposedly company making operations at Tilapia. Oh dear. Oh dear. Share suspension then RNS Needed ASAP methinks.

AIM-listed gold producer in Turkey Ariana Resources (AAU) has followed up yesterday’s big news that the corporate action to bring Ozaltin into its JV with Proccea has completed with exploration news from the Arzu North pit currently feeding its now 23.5%-owned Kiziltepe gold/silver refinery. And the news is good…….

MyHealthChecked Video – you wanted a few numbers and what is this about Boots & Tesco?

Reader SB asks if there are any forecasts for MyHealthChecked (MHC). There are not. Not even from the UK’s leading healthcare analyst Mr Brokerman Dan Levi. However, the company does give indications of what sort of sales it might achieve in a corporate presentation video below. There is more and I am not sure what this means and think MyHealthChecked should clarify.

Charge of the Light Brigade Could Mean a Bumper Year for this Sparky Outfit

Hello Share Packers. Though most of us have a few old-fashioned light bulbs around the house, the cheapest way is to change completely to LED bulbs. One company which is cashing in on this sensible trend is eEnergy (EAAS). It takes on the responsibility of changing over to LED’s and maintaining them. And it does so for schools and care homes…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - my first training walk for Woodlarks completed, the shame of it

I guess it was about seven miles that my daughter and I managed and it was terribly muddy so hard going but I am not in great shape. On the last Saturday in May, I shall be doing 34 miles. I need to up the pace a bit. In the podcast I cover: AIQ (AIQ), Online Blockchain (OBC), MyHealthChecked (MHC), Zoetic (ZOE), Kanobo (KNB) and Ariana Resources (AAU).

CYAN

CyanConnode – research announcement on argued “world leader”. Er...

Self-styled “a world leader in Narrowband Radio Frequency Smart Mesh Networks” CyanConnode (CYAN) has made an RNS Reach announcement that Arden has published a research note on the company. At a guess, a favourable such note then!…

Drax Group– Uninvestable to me – but very important

I have commented earlier today on NextEnergy Renewables (NREN). There is no question the UK grid has been under real stress this winter when the wind does not blow and the sun has set. The answer can only be gas fired stations in my view. Drax Group (DRX) is focused on Biomass power generation, but potential influence on gas fired generation worries me.

SYME

Reader Poll: which will go bust or be booted off the market first?

Just for fun and to annoy the sort of pond life who take such pleasure in trolling me, here is a reader poll with a deadline to vote of midnight tonight 17th February. Which of the following companies will either declare bankruptcy or see its shares slung off the market for good first?:

NextEnergy Renewables Ltd – Immoral “woke” deployment of capital

Primary Bid sent me, amongst many others, an e-mail yesterday advising that NextEnergy Renewables Ltd (NREN) is seeking to raise cash and list on the LSE Main market. With a target total fund raise of £300 million I thought I would have a look. If you are interested you can apply HERE but before you do….

DVRG

DeepVerge – emphasises production progress, but what about the bottom-line & balance sheet?...

“Prod’n orders worth $5m for Modern Water Equipment”-titled announcement from self-styled “environmental and life science AI company” DeepVerge (DVRG), and the shares are currently up around 5%, at above 31p, in response. So what’s the detail?…

Ariana – Ozaltin deal completes. Now, what to do with £25 million (that's alot of Ouzo...)

AIM-listed gold producer in Turkey Ariana Resources (AAU) has announced completion of the corporate action bringing Ozaltin into its joint venture with Proccea, under which Ariana has reduced its ownership to 23.5% of its assets at and around its producing Kiziltepe plant and at Salinbas in Eastern Turkey in return for $37.75 million. It has taken over a year, but finally we are there. So what will Ariana spend the resulting £25 million on?

Tom Winnifrith employs hundreds of scammers in 12 "boiler rooms" - a true moron from ADVFN has fake news for you

The Patient Investor dwells in the asylum that is the ADVFN Bulletin Board and is quite literally mad. He appears to think, erroneously, that a boiler room is a place where teams of folks post on Bulletin Boards and apparently “knows” that I employ hundreds of folks in 12 distinct sites, each paid £10 an hour, to control share prices via BB postings. This is fake news of the highest order. Nurse! Nurse! The patient (investor) needs his meds upping fast! For starters: the idea that I’d pay anyone more than the minimum wage is preposterous! Just ask Steve Moore!

HVT

The funny old world of IFRS accounting – when is a profit not a profit?

Hat tip to reader TP for spotting this. New accounting standards were, I thought, meant to ensure that the picture painted in a set of accounts reflected the reality of what was going on at the coalface. But sometimes they have the opposite effect. Take this gem from yesterday’s Preliminary results from Heavitree Brewery (HVT):

Though this Outfit was Floored by the Virus, It's Likely to Whizz Back Up the Ladder

Hello, Share Twiddlers. Yes, I know, you can’t get a more boring company than one that supplies stuff to cover floors. But to misquote the Yorkshire proverb, ‘Where there’s boredom, there can be brass.’

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Paul Scott is bang on the money

I will not make that joke about Paul, Lent starts tomorrow and my minimal alcohol intake will be going to zero until Easter. I may have a couple of glasses tonight to brace myself for a period of thirst that lies ahead. In this podcast I discuss Paul’s comments on Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and why I think the FCA may not allow this fraud to relist. I look at Zoetic (ZOE) where I am hopeful of an imminent share suspension, and the pot and small cap bubble in general, also looking at today’s pot float, Kanabo (KNB).

BREAKING: Letter to the FCA: Zoetic and the illegal reverse takeover & other matters

That Path could not get FCA approval for a prospectus involving a deal with Zoetic International (ZOE) as emerged yesterday should confirm that the floor shitters are all over the fraud which has lied to its, very few, customers to investors and to regulators and which is teetering on the verge of bankruptcy.  I have today written to the FCA to raise new concerns as to whether Zoetic can remain listed without issuing a fresh prospectus, which it cannot afford. The detailed letter is below:
