Telling investors something that is untrue in an approved announcement (an RNS) as you endeavour to issue shares to raise extra cash is not good. Not only is it a lie but it is an attempt at fraud since you are raising money on the basis of a lie. I hereby accuse Brian McDonnell of US Oil & Gas (USOP) of being a liar and a fraud. He should go to prison. And if it does not resign first thing on Monday its advisers Alexander David Securities is a willing party to that fraud. It should quit at once. Brian can sue me for libel if he wishes but this is a slam dunk. The little crook is exposed.

One question: given your painful, but ultimately semi-staisfactory battle with Sefton, is this really worth it? I admire your stance, but if the guy chooses to go for it, do you really want to be dragged through the shenanigans again?

Semi- satisfactory my arse. Sefton had to drop the case, its chairman was fired in disgrace & I received a material settlement and from my peers great recognition. I would regard that as a more than satisfactory outcome would you not?
If Brian McDonnell wants to chance his arm with shareholders cash on a libel case he knows that he cannot win he can be my guest. The outcome will be the same. His destruction my vindication. Discovery has a clear meaning in oil. Brian lied. Brian is now trying to raise cash on the back of a lie. That is fraud.

a) great fun
b) actually doing some good for my fellow man.

I like reading your articles which are usually both interesting and insightful. However please proof-read and spell check them (or get someone else to do so). When attacking someone else’s credibility it doesn’t help to be seen to have (in particular) easily caught errors in your own work… Given the time taken to locate a story, research facts and write the article, surely a couple of minutes to proof read is a wise investment. More generally, keep up the good work.
