The long running farce that is GXG listed US Oil & Gas (USOP) is a gift that keeps on giving and at the centre of it all is the greatest Irish comic genius since Dave Allen, CEO wee Brian McDonnell. “It’s the way I tell ‘em.” No that was Frank Carson but wee Brian might use that line too.

Duck and Dive
He said in an RNS a year ago that he was going to expand the Board immediately. Turned out to be untrue. So a few shareholders helped out by finding him a blue chip candidate – and Brian was so horrified he apparently talked them out of tabling their resolution by claiming that a new “imposed” director would jeopardise everything he was working on.
Hogwash of course – but Brian acts as though he owns USOP and can carry on doing his own thing, whatever that is, without furnishing shareholders with any independent evidence of his grandiose claims.
