Hello Share Pitchers. Royal Insurance, or RSA (RSA) as it’s been known for some time now, is going through a very funny period.

The T/O was the wrong way round. RSA should have bid for Zurich, if the Swiss authorities would allow it.
Shareholders should take the RSA Chairman out and shoot him for not understanding the company he is sitting on. The RSA is a recovering budding jewel, why do you think Zurich wanted it.
The reality here is that Zurich bid to late, they should have bid a year earlier, Zurich balance sheet carried more value, and they would have got the RSA at a cheaper price. More fool them eh, they missed a bargain. Lets hope Shell haven’t made the same mistake
