Yesterday Smarter Web Company (SWC) announced with some good grace that it was parting company with its chief bitcoin officer Jesse Myers. The prat hit back late in the day with a long post on X which you can see below. It is now clear that he did not jump but was pushed. Quite right, Myers has cost the company tens of millions of pounds.
Oh dear, oh dear. The history of those PLC executives who take to twitter to diss the Sheriff is not a happy man. Step forward Jesse Myers, until next Monday the head of bitcoin strategy at The Smarter Web Company (SWC).

Mr Webley is a brave man for today, as you can see below, he has committed the ultimate schoolboy error of going to social media to praise the City's most hated man, that is myself. His shareholders appear united in hating me and thinking I am an idiot for not buying Smarter shares at up to 600p, but seem to think he will transform me into a bitcoin bull. I think not.
On Saturday I flagged up how the chief X promoter of The Smarter Web Company (SWC) was promoting the shares as ones likely to 33 bag the same day he slashed his holding from5.85% to 2.98%. Surely Andrew Smith was guilty of multi million pound market abuse? He protests otherwise on X but talks cobblers
I stress that the abuse does not involve my NBF, any director or the company itself. But it does involve one of its largest shareholders who cannot claim financial naivety and it seems slam dunk to me. I will flag this up with the FCA and frankly my NBF, Smarter’s CEO Andrew Webley, should also be reporting a suspicious, and big, trade.
If so there may be one for sale in Bristol with the apparent vendor the CEO of the Smarter Web Company (SWC). I suppose the real question is whether if he had a spare 450 grand would he be buying bitcoin, Smarter shares or a third arm?
