Fusion Antibodies – a “delighted to have secured” contract win, attempted ramptastic?

Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued a “Contract win” announcement with CEO Adrian Kinkaid emphasising “delighted to have secured this further project with an established pharmaceutical client… reflects… the value of Fusion’s specialist antibody development capabilities. The award also supports our strategy of developing deeper relationships with major pharmaceutical companies, providing opportunities for further collaboration and a more diversified revenue base”. What about that from a current 5.75p share price, £7.2 million market cap here?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – argues “encouraging scientific and technological progress”, but there’s not financial progress. Hopefully my warning was heeded…

Most recently on company describing itself as “specialists in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply” Fusion Antibodies (FAB), last month with the shares falling below 10p I concluded, with the financial position, an approx. £12 million market cap still sell. The shares most recently closed at 9.75p and what about now an “AGM statement H1 trading and research update” announcement?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – full-year results argue “another year of important progress”, but why then not announced until now?…

‘Specialists in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply for both therapeutic drug and diagnostic applications’, Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has announced results for its year ended 31st March 2026 including “another year of important progress for the company. We had revenue growth, a significant improvement in gross margin and a stronger cash position… Scientifically, we have continued to make excellent progress”. However, why has it not announced the results until now? – and I note I previously wrote on the company in May; ‘Japan patent grant, “excellent news” or rather attempted ramptastic?’.

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – trading statement argues “a solid foundation for future growth”. Er, really?…

Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued a “trading statement” headlined “Positioning for growth through platform development and strategic partnerships” and including that it “continues to benefit from a combination of commercial revenues and non-dilutive funding sources, including FMI and other grant programmes. The board remains focused on careful cash management while continuing to invest in high-value R&D programmes and commercial initiatives”. So what about a current share price response to 12.75p, approaching 9% lower?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – “Launch of OptiMAL platform” ‘delight’, how delightful is the financial position?…

Stating it “has an international, blue-chip client base, which has included eight of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies by revenue”, ‘antibody engineering services’ contract research organisation Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued a “Launch of OptiMAL platform”-titled announcement which includes emphasising “look forward to the future of using this technology to bring more human therapeutic antibodies to the market”. What about currently an approaching 6% lower share price response to below 17p?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – emphasises “delighted” with ‘R&D Update’, but what about the “cash runway”?…

Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued an ‘R&D Update’ announcement including that “having already demonstrated superior single digit nM affinities for antibodies against protein targets… now shown to be similarly successful with smaller peptide targets”. How material is this, with the shares currently approaching 4% higher at 14p in response?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – argues “very pleased to deliver an improved FY2025”, but how ‘pleasing’ really is it?…

Despite its current half year ending at the end of this month, Fusion Antibodies (FAB) only now announces results for its year ended 31st March 2025. CEO Adrian Kinkaid states that the company is “very pleased to deliver an improved FY2025” but, with the shares currently responding 3% lower to 16.5p, how ‘pleasing’ actually is its “improved FY2025”?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – a “delighted… Contract Win” or a “modest revenues… project under an existing Master Service Agreement”?!…

Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued a “Contract Win” announcement including CEO Adrian Kinkaid emphasising “delighted to have been selected to humanise a family of antibodies for our client. It is particularly gratifying that a client of this magnitude and with all the resources available to it has selected Fusion to undertake this critical work”. So how ‘delightful’ is this “contract win” relative to a current 15p share price, £17 million market cap?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – argues a “delighted” by “enthusiasm” shown placing, but does it really provide vast growth potential or is it to be needed to ‘keep the lights on’?…

Most recently writing on company describing itself as “specialists in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply for both therapeutic drug and diagnostic applications” Fusion Antibodies (FAB), in December with the shares soaring to above 6p I concluded that I remained unconvinced of a sustainable funding platform and to still avoid. The shares went on to exceed 10p in January, most recently closed at 6.75p and now a placing announcement…

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – interims argue “now well positioned”, but is it really?…

Antibody contract research company Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has announced results for its half-year ended 30th September 2024 with CEO Adrian Kinkaid emphasising that “the company is now well positioned, generating the financial evidence of a significant recovery and promising growth in the company's prospects”. What then of a current share price response more than 7.5% lower to 4.25p?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – argues trading “positive momentum”, but how positive really?

Antibody contract research company Fusion Antibodies (FAB) has issued a “Trading update” highlighting “Positive momentum through the first quarter of the current financial year ending 31 March 2025… continuing confidence for growth in the remainder of FY2025”. So what of a share price slightly up to 3.15p, but comparing to rising above 6p as recently as January?

FAB

Fusion Antibodies – discounted placing as I warned, but a share options ‘up yours’ to external shareholders too!

Just last week with its shares rising above 5p on a “pleased to announce” follow-on project award, I cautioned on antibody contract research company Fusion Antibodies (FAB) to be particularly wary of the attempted ramptastic considering its funding situation and to avoid/sell. It hasn’t taken long for a “placing” announcement!

Good commentary Nigel. Yes, I watched JRB's latest video yesterday and everything makes sense. We may have a further fall in gold and silver over the coming weeks, but I too sense the bottom is very near. And an excellent time for accumulation - I'm loading up again on GPM to add to the pile as I consider juniors are severely undervalued now and their prospects (pardon the pun) are top notch.Onwards and upwards!

It's rather pointless voting for you to have a holiday in your luxury Greek hovel, even though your correct assessment played out the way you said it would.I've read all of the entries and there are some good ones there, not least Steve's piece on Zinc. I liked Pete's ECOB entry - fairly obvious he would write about that - but it isn't really a short or a zero, according to him.I shall re-read the others before voting. As for Andy Pandy - words fail me. I'd probably end up in prison if I wrote what I think of him and his government. WELL INFORMED is spot-on with his comments.

I have to take issue with the word despise. You said it twice. I’m no Burnham apologist and most of what you say about him I accept. There is no knowledge or understanding of business seemingly in the cabinet and that’s a great shame however the 5 iterations of Tory prime minister between 2010 and 2024 were absolutely no better. Farage has no answers except spewing bile and offering uncosted giveaways. Farage is worthy of being despised. Pedophile in chief Trump is worthy of being despised. Tommy Robinson et al and murderous Putin are much higher on the list than Burnham. I’m calling you out because I’ve never heard you use that word to describe any of the others.
