I know Burberry (BRBY) check used to be chav-tastic but I am told by those that know more about these things than me that this is not so much the case anymore. Despite this Burberry cracks on with the share recently touching over 19 quid. It has pulled back a pound or so since then but after thinking about today’s trading update from the company the shares need to come back further.

Couldn’t agree more with your analysis.
My opinion, Burberry is an accident waiting to happen.
Even the nouveau rich Chinese and Russians, must be catching onto the fact that Burberry ain’t quite the compelling fashion statement it once enjoyed and the competition is fierce! The customers of these high end fashion offerings are renown for their fickleness, brand loyalty cannot be taken for granted.
Burberry last struggled in 2006 and it took all the overpaid talents, of Ms Ahrendts, to pull it from the brink, now they have their ex key fashion designer, the Brit Christopher Bailey at the helm.
Mr Bailey is probably better known, amongst the wider public, for moaning and groaning that his £8.6 million salary package wasn’t enough! Maybe that’s why he appears to be doing such a mediocre job and the cracks have started to appear? The poor man is underpaid!
