Of course the Mrs. has kept her Maiden name as all progressives do. But she has a favour to ask of you all and it is a chance to help yourself as well.
At the end of next week I am off to Greece with the kids. For the first week I am on my own, thereafter the Mrs. is joining us for ten days. So for the first week I am on solo childcare which restricts my “desk time” thereafter the Mrs. suggests I should limit it anyway as we really should have a family holiday. And she is, as is often the case, right.
I have not really had a proper holiday in years. So I will be trying to restrict myself to 90 minutes desk time a day during the periods before other family members wake up or during mesimeri ( the afternoon sleep). Of course, I will exploit Steve Moore like the evil capitalist I am and make him work longer hours. And my time on the Evening Standard with five deadlines a day means I can be very productive in 90 minutes. But I ask for your help to keep these pages humming while I enjoy real quality time with the Mrs. and kids.
So I’d like to publish a series of articles “If I had to bet the ranch on one share it would be…” This is a chance to talk your own book and there is a prize.
