Netcall – full-year results, still ‘superior growth’ required?

Previously writing on automation and customer engagement software company Netcall (NET), in March with the shares up to above 100p I concluded that the valuation demanded at least superior growth – ‘at least’ because on increased market negative sentiment there was not much tangible asset backing for the valuation either and, as such, I continued to avoid. What then of now results for the company’s year ended 30th June 2023 emphasising “a strong year of trading” and “sales momentum has remained strong into the start of the new financial year”…and the shares currently at 82p?

NET

Netcall – results emphasising “growth opportunities”, but are they to be sufficient?...

Year ended 30th June 2021 results from automation and customer engagement software company Netcall (NET) emphasise “growing cloud business is delivering enhanced profitability and revenue visibility which, combined with our product innovation, produces new growth opportunities”. The shares though closed last month at 88p, yesterday at 85.5p and are currently heading towards 80p. What’s the value situation?...

NET

As Halloween approaches, who you gonna call? Netcall, mayhap?

Hello Share Punchers. For many years I’ve held shares in Netcall (NET). Though the share toppled soon after I bought, I've held on all these years. Then came a slow rally. This continued for a time, then came another decay. Currently, I think I’m well short of breaking even. But firstly, what does Netcall do?...

…and yet, several professional/institutional investors have a notifiable stake and seem to have held firm for some time. Go figure. It certainly isn't a pick for anyone who needs forward earnings visibility as the Croda deal which should be the jewell in the crown is shrouded in secrecy. I consider it to be like a typical nil-revenue pharma which has just licensed its patented cure for acne to AstraZeneca. If it works, everyone gets rich on 100% margins…albeit SBTX does have other small businesses in the group.Skins is undoubtedly a gamble but it is better than many AIM punts because there is already strong evidence that its IP portfolio could be valuable, with royalties only now starting to come in from Croda.Obviously, the SP has suffered as a result of the investigation into the former CEO's misdemeanours and a lengthy AIM trading suspension. But this has only set us back a year and the new Board, having steadied the ship, is now starting to see revenue growth above expectations. The upcoming FY results and 2026/27 guidance will give us a much clearer picture but the current SP looks to me like a bargain for adventure lovers.

TW you are such a pathetic jealous loser who has never done anything in your life except attack innocent people who you envy and try to ruin them after all your own businesses before failed with shareholders losing everything (must have small dick syndrome I am sure) but this is a new low attacking a taxi driver getting a tip and a school girl getting sponsored and trying to get her father fired. I ask everyone to cancel their subscription immediately and all defamed companies and management to email and join sheriffclassaction@pm.me and put an end to this bullshit once and for all!

It's not just morally wrong, unless it has been sanctioned by the shareholders, it's a breach of various duties set out in Chapter 2 of Part 10 of CA 2006.

I think the Bull case for skins was made by sa in a podcast with you in 2021.The issue now is.A) No one knows how many shares will be issue when the company reaches break even.B) No one on planet earth appears to know when Croda revenues will surge producing a rerating.
