As we know Daniel Stewart will stop being a Nomad tomorrow night and so shares in its clients will be suspended from the AIM Casino unless they get a new Nomad PDQ. So today China Chaintek (CTEK) announced that ZAI Corporate Finance had taken it one. FFS – Alarm Bells vicar? Due diligence? A list of ZAI bargepole stocks is needed now.

If I was thinking about floating a business on AIM who should I choose from as my Nomad ?

Thanks for this list, Tom. You and your team are doing a magnificent job of single-handedly addressing the long overdue task of cleaning up AIM because, sure as hell, the regulators don’t seem to be bothered by the fraud-fest Aim has become.
Is there any chance you could add an easy access tab or category for these lists of clients of dodgy nomads for quick reference? Who knows, if enough investors start to avoid these companies, the nomads might be forced to clean up their act and do their job properly.
As a past investor (before I realised the true nature of the AIM cesspit) in two of the companies listed above (GCM and POL) I can attest that both are non-investable and not to be touched with a bargepole.

I understand ZAI were nomad to CTEK before Dan Stewart. Why did they pull out before ?

I came across Zimmerman & Zai a few years ago when I was running a huntin’,shootin’ & fishin’ trip against Tricor plc;a former Leo Knifton outfit that went on to achieve even greater failure under Chan Fook Meng.The company was running the usual convertible loan “fandango”;in which lots of cheap shares are available to be converted against a claimed loan which are sold at hyped market price to morons.
Tricor and its then Nomad Zai/Ray Z put out an RNS advising that a £100,000 convertible loan note had been issued;it was only after the accounts had been published that I realised that the actual loan note was £1,100,000 and sqwillions of shares could and had in part been issued to considerable profit.I tried without any success to get the Nomad & AIM regulation to issue a correction;I then contacted FSA & eventually a correction was issued.Zai shortly after left as Nomad,replaced by Allenby whether an improvement would need forensic skills!
The Tricor “ramp” deflated after this correction and it has carried on failing and is currently suspended.Punters who bought Tricor shares had a virtual 99.9% wipe out even before its last suspension.

Oh my god ……….. what were Zai thinking by nomading for Obtala . They have spoiled their reputation for nomading only complete shite , frauds and nare do wells . Wankers …………… but not as high up the wall as Daniel Stewart ……….. yet .

I bloody knew these DS clients would end up at ZAI. Had the misfortune of dealing with them on HTIG in attempt to clarify the financial position. Totally hopeless and yes I am sure their due diligence for all of this new business consisted of “name please sir?”
