It is 13 years to the day since the fraud Enron went bust. Right until the last it insisted that it was in rude financial health. Ditto Quindell (QPP). But some of its trade suppliers are not so sure. The National Association of Bodyshops has today explicitly warned its members of the dangers of doing business with Quindell.

Your ability to twist and distort is impressive, but your headline and the content of an ill-informed release are a million miles apart, as anyone with a basic grip of the English language can see.
The day of judgement is approaching TW, but not for Quindell…. when QPP’s cash balances are revealed end of year, your credibility and those of the sad TWmorons, will be destroyed in a spectacular fashion. Suggest you stick to olive growing in future…

Why did QPP not put out an announcement about the denial of the dismissal motion at the time?
Why did QPP not put out an announcement soon after the details of the judgement were made public in UK?
Why did QPP not put out an announcement in Nov telling everyone how much cash had been generated in Oct? – they put out an announcement in Aug saying Jul had been cash positive!
Why have QPP not put out an announcement with the Nov cash position?
Surely with a trade association warning its members specifically about Quindell whilst making some more generic statements, they will put out an announcement tomorrow clarifying the situation with the HIMEX case and giving full details of the net cash and working capital position demonstrating that not only is net cash increasing, but trade payables are falling and assuring everyone that the next Dun&Bradstreet index will show a marked reduction in their average time to pay bills. They will also be announcing that whilst they can’t move the pay date back to before Christmas, it does not matter because they are going to pay all staff a nice juicy bonus before Christmas on top of what they will receive in January for December.
All that will be announced tomorrow before the market opens, so everyone has a fair chance to pile in.
If it is not announced before market open, then, if the pattern of the last few days holds, selling first thing to the day traders who buy in hoping for a rise and sell out just before close so they are not caught holding overnight in case the stock suspends or the disaster RNS comes out before open and leaves them stranded, is the best thing to do.
So what more could any Quindell holder want? It is either RNS with stacks of good news to pile in on or it is get out first thing, when there are buyers around. I don’t hold, but I will buy in first thing, if there is an RNS with all that in before open tomorrow – Can’t say fairer than that.

Apparently the NAB press release from yesterday, has been removed, speculating that either Quindell or QPPSAG members have been exerting pressure.

Strange how their website removed all the articles about how wonderful it was that Rob Terry had been buying shares. Wonder why!

The UK Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) is happy to host the pdf of the Delaware court papers, presumably as a heads up to their members who have the misfortune to be entangled with QPP.

As far as I’m aware Shareprohet’s was the first and only news site to have picked up on the Delaware Court proceedings.
So its interesting to note how widely it seems to have been picked up by others notably, NAB and RMI, whose members have direct dealings with Quindell. As Jucin highlights ‘ presumably as a heads up to their members.’ What other possible reason could there be for them to print the papers? Would we be wrong in, therefore, assuming there is, indeed, growing anxiety amongst suppliers, re: Quindell’s ability to pay its bills?
Speaks volumes to my mind how deafeningly silent Quindell have been over this matter given the potentially damaging consequences!
Seems that Shareprophet’s pronouncements are being closely monitored by peoples with vested interests to Quindell’s financial health other than us ordinary punters!
