The Sunday Times has today unearthed evidence of the cash crisis at Quindell (QPP). Listeners to bearcasts here will not be suprised by this news. So what does Quindell do now? Will the sad excuse of a Nomad that is Cenkos let it respond or must the shares be suspended at once. In an angry and hard hitting podcast I lay out what lies ahead as the shit hits the fan and the shares become worthless. 0p is in sight. Events are now moving at light speed, the word "vindication" is on my lips.

Nothing new in this one (again). TW talks about how Cenkos need to do due diligence if QPP issue a RNS tomorrow morning, or Cenkos will be finished/subject to a class action.
Bit more Schaudenfreude mixed in for good measure.

I can see where you’re going with this, if the directors contacted EFH to cash out after the talks to raise funds failed that’s gotta be market abuse. On a related note most on the BBs reckon Fidelity lost faith after the director share sales scandal but may have it the wrong way round. What if the directors caught wind of Fidelity selling then made the call, that would be blatant market abuse.
As the cash the execs got was based on the price on the 3 days before, they can react if they knew the price was about to go wobbly. In entering into the loan on Tuesday (probably emailed EFH on Monday) did they get wind of something over the weekend?

My money is on no announcement at all on Monday, shares continue to trade, share price goes into free fall, only supported by BBMs quoting the bit of the Sunday Times article where the company says it does not need cash and it was hedge funds that approached them and requoting the canaccord cash flow forecast figures. Blaming the blogger for everything whilst claiming to be putting in huge buys at these crazy prices and warning shorters that the will be burned in hell. Ie more of the same, no real change here.

QPP will undoubtedly have known FMR were selling, as any sensible Plc pays to have its register analysed on a regular ongoing basis.

BBM’s seem to be divided between the money being sought to do share buy backs early and it being for an MBO at £1.50.
I am sure the company will make clear on Monday morning which of these theories is in fact correct. Not!

this is going down another 20% on Monday. Gotham target of 45p easily achievable by the end of the week, if not Wednesday.

I doubt it will be 20%, not after the Sunday Times article – the Sunday Times still caries a lot of credibility, they are not some scummy website that can be abused and ignored. If there is no announcement signed off by Cenkos confirming there is no cash crunch and cash targets will be met – unlikely and there is no suspension (I hope there won’t be as a lot of people have finally woken up and deserve a last chance to get at least something back) then I think the close on Monday will be at around 5p.

I’m currently short on QPP. What happens if they are suspended tomorrow? Do I have to wait months or even a year to close my position? Assuming they are not suspended yet, at what price (if it tanks tomorrow) should shorters cash in? 20p low enough?
