Breaking news and expert analysis on fast-moving AIM and LSE listed shares
I’d like to remind certain people who’ve attacked the mercurial David Lenigas, in recent weeks, that this is the man who a couple of months ago was being praised by the vast majority for making them collectively, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of pounds. (Where are they all now David?) Fast forward to the present day and Mr Lenigas is now being demonised on financial web sites, bulletin boards, comments sections & twitter.

Its beyond many folks comprehension, that DL has been so pilloried over this matter. It was simple error and to suggest anything more is doing a ruddy good man, a true entrepreneur a great dis-service!

Sorry Dan, it’s not a typo when you say it three times in three different contexts – it’s either a misunderstanding by DL (unthinkable) or a lie for the purpose of ramping his stock.
And you are naive if you think that the primary rationale for DL using Twitter is to help his private investors. He uses it primarily for his own ends and will therefore make a comeback when it suits him.
And as far as I can tell, his followers are mainly a pump and dump brigade who know that he can make a share price spike (using Twitter and other channels). They also know that those shares don’t stay spiked for long…The asset, the flow rate, the contract, the loan, the strategic investor, whatever, all have an unfortunate habit of turning out to be less good than the hype.
For all the rats who follow the pied piper, there are many more who consider him to be disreputable and wouldn’t touch his companies with a barge-pole — including fund managers and other large investors.
This is the same man who brought a very expensive lawsuit to court which the judge described as unwinnable. He clearly has a dangerous ego.

He made three tweets in just over a month all claiming 3D seismic and not a single tweet mentioning 2D.
This wasn’t just a typo.
At best he didn’t understand the monumental difference between 2D and 3D Seismic, at worst…
Either way, for the regulator to take no action over this is appalling. It just sends out the clear message other execs can say whatever moonshine they wish and their Nomads need do nothing about it.

how I remember your stalwart defence of MX who did far worse VIA RNS!
I have said that what Lenigas did was wrong three times.
I did not call for the hanging of MX and I do not call for DL to be hung.
I sense you are the sort of Sheriff who believes in ISIS style Sharia law on AIM ( except for MX). I tend to think a public rebuke for DL/MX offences (Id treat a tweat as the same as an RNS) is the fair punishment. Save the posse and the noose for the real criminals.
AIM Reg seem to think that all crimes should go unpunished. That is the real failing.

I have now said on 4 occassions that DL was in the wrong. what more do you want,.
On MX they admitted that the RNS’s were wrong and thanked me. So I was correct.
I said that not a hanging offence ditto DL. I am consistent but stern in pointing out errors of this nature.

I sympathise with DL, there is a string possibility that it was a genuine mistake. I find it difficult to believe that anyone was seriously misled. If they were they really should not be playing the market imo.

Kiss and make up chaps , I bought the shares and still made a real good wedge anyway, 2d or 3d . So why the grief . Its not as if David caused us to lose tons of money …….. quite the reverse if one sold as per tip / or common sense.
You guys are normally dead tight together ………. suggest you go out for a mega piss up together and get that team bonding back in shape .
