Amara Mining (AMA) has announced further encouraging drilling results from its Yaoure project in Côte d'Ivoire. Most AIM casino listed gold miners are a total waste of space, Amara is a rare quality play.

But gold is currently under $1220 and could easily fall below $1200 this year. Next year and thereafter, rising interest rates should see it fall further surely.
Amara may have a good asset but who knows when it will be able to profitably mine it?
Got to hand it to Algy, getting out near the top.

Agree totally. Although what about Ariana Tom? This was one of your recommendations @ 0.85p up to 1.25p, do you not still fancy that stock? (currently 0.80p) Not in the same league as Amara, but still good at today’s silly prices, especially if gold moves north.
Took a position with Amara a couple of years ago. unfortunately, I came in when the gold price/share price was stronger than it is now. Amara was trading above 50p just a couple of years ago!!
So convinced of the long term here, I came back in when the price bottomed at 11p, This has all the makings of a great success story. If the gold price moves, this share will rocket. There is also a possibility that a big player will buy it out, for multiples of today’s share price. I would still be a buyer of this stock up to 25p.

I got out at 24p. Will only return when gold turns
