It is so much smarter to buy 3i Infrastructure shares than boring old bonds

By Chris Bailey | Tuesday 7 November 2023

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

I was listening to a fund management industry rogue (aka institutional management top knob) talking on the radio this morning, rambling on about how his average client would keep on loving cash for ages in our changing and evolving world. It has amazed me for about three decades the ridiculous fees some people paid for products that were complete random walks. And, whilst I think cheap passive management has its own challenges, I am happy to see the industry is facing material pricing pressures. And suffice to say, the seven quid odd a month your ShareProphets subscription has been damn good value for money for ages already.
