Do you understand what oil junior TXO (TXO) does? It seems a tad complicated and its CEO Tim Baldwin seems to attract "mixed" Bulletin Board Comment. In this video from UK Investor show Mr Baldwin puts the case for buying shares in TXO.

Tom,
Thanks for republishing that complete shambles – it still makes me cry with laughter. The real question is though: have you really switched from poacher to game keeper or are you still protecting hapless old buddies like Tim “Blobby” Baldwin. As one of the most incompetent and corrupt operators on AIM, he should be easy meat for you in your self-appointed “Sheriff of AIM” role. If you can’t bring yourself to sort out someone as bad as Blobby, then you are as big a fraud as he is.
Tom's first note Mr Drunken Sailor is currently facing legal action from TXO which accuses him of libel. ShareProphets will not be getting involved until that matter is resolved. We spend enough time fighting our own libel cases... Tom's second note, Please note that we have been openly critical of Mr Baldwin's Cientifica in the past as Mr Sailor can verify with a site search. The Sheriff goes after anyone who deserves it & no-one is protected but he fights his wars and just cannot find time to fight those of other folks as well. If you get involved in a libel case please do not come running to me to help.Drunken Sailor
Tom,
I am not facing legal action at all. I have had some empty threats from lawyers, a typical Baldwin tactic. I went to the AGM and faced him personally – that is how worried I am not about his empty threats.

To answer your second point. Everybody was already laughing about the link up with Stephen Voller before you published, Why have you not made similar comments about the other proposed link ups with losers. But more importantly when Baldwin was exposed, by me, for e-mailing out the CTFA placing presentation to alll and sundry, the placing collapsed and CTFA were forced to put the placing presentation on their website to level the playing field, why was the Sheriff so quiet then?

As BB Threads show you are obsessed by Tim Baldwin. Whatever.
I have 2500 companies to look at. I cannot cover all in detail.
I showed balance in running the Voller thing on CTFA. But I am not going to spend 24 hrs a day fretting about 2 stocks with a combined market cap of £3m. I would suggest that if I did viewer numbers here might fall - more importantly the do not interest me as - say - QPP does.
Good luck with your fight. I hope the truth comes out but as you say lawyers letters have been issued.
I have stated here previously that once a company gets to that sage in a battle with a critic I do not get involved.
That is a personal rule and will not change even for a man such as yourself who is intent on abusing me.

Tom,
If you are not interested in TXO why republish the UK investors show shambles?
Tom Winnifrith
Drunken.
If you were less obsessed by TXO you’d see we are republishing all UKI videos

Great, Perhaps when you get round to republishing the CTFA one you can let everyone know how Baldwin messed up the 3p placing back in Feb by e-mailing the presentation out and they have only just managed to get a minuscule placing away just recently at half the price.

Tom,
I believe this applies:
“During my career I have had countless letters from companies threatening to sue me for libel. Bear raider Evil Knievil has had a good few too. I am not sure how Evil is doing but I have not yet lost a case. And have only once or twice caved by taking an article down. The behaviour of companies that resort to legal action is telling. And incidentaly those that have threatened me have nearly all, already, gone tits up.
Good companies do not attract hostile comment from folks like myself, Evil, Gotham City and other bears. We only make specific allegations of wrong doing when we can a) prove them and b) when they are material from an investment point of view. If per chance we get it wrong a good company has nothing to fear. It simply points out factual errors and we will always correct any mistakes made – well I will anyway. And a good company can afford to do – as Rob Terry of Quindell – says he is doing just sit there and “let the results do the talking.” The share price will follow suit and bears will be burned.
Bad companies respond by going to their lawyers. They will thus either say via an RNS or plant in a newspaper via their PR firm that they are “talking to their lawyers with a view to legal action.”
They might even go one step further and say that they have initiated legal action. But there is initiating and there is initiating. You can for instance file libel papers I the High Court but these mean jack shit unless they are actually served. They just sit there for a year. This allows a fraudulent company to reassure its poor investors that there is nothing wrong and it is dealing with the wicked bears without actually risking actually having to fight the case.
