Following an AGM on Friday 434 million new shares in Rose Petroleum (ROSE) (33% of the enlarged share capital) will be issued on Monday. Ben Turney explained this shocking state of affairs HERE. Some mug punters seem to read a few things on charts and reckon that the shares – now 2.28p – could hit 4p. Nonsense, they are a sell with a 1.6p target. Here’s why.

I strongly disagree and find this article baffling to say the least.
The price drops caused by placings come
1) Before the placing is announced as the spivs forward sell
2) On the day of the abnnoucement as PIs panic and the forward selling continues.
The actual admission of the shares never has any effect as they are already priced in by the market.Your own colleague made this exact point a few days ago.
Why is it that you think this particular placement will be any different to hundreds that have gone before it?

Chris,
Lot’s and lot’s of people saying that you’re article is a deliberate ploy to drop the share price for either a cheap buy price or part of a personal vendetta.
I tweeted you yesterday and asked your opinion of where you anticipated the share price to be in the upcoming weeks pre spud but even though you’ve been tweeting all day you’ve chosen not to reply.
Your silence says more to me than your article does.
So chris, would you care to state your opinion on a pre spud SP?
